Did someone say photo spam? Here's a pic of Feena: I still need to sew here some better clothes and take more pics! >.<
Yes, she's a Sweet with elf ears and Honey face-up/wing blushing.^^ I didn't measure her height but here's a pic with her next to a 26cm dolly if that helps: Congrats on the shipping notice!
Thank you!! I guess that means she is only 2cm taller than the original Leeke body. Good to know, but I have another question-have you ever had something come in the mail through Swiss Post before?
She's also a bit thinner than most YoSD, I have to cinch the clothes she shares with my other YoSD in with safety pins if I'm going for a fitted look.
Solveig and Fenna are just gorgeous. I'm in love with the entaurs but I hope to be able to add a fairy ent to my family one day too.
I hope this is still considered to be on topic, but for those of you who blushed the ent parts yourself did you find it easy enough to do? I've no experience but I was wondering whether it would be something (with the right tools) that I could try on the entaur. Did all the ents have clear resin legs or were some white resin? Just wondered if one was more forgiving than the other to work with. Thanks/
I can at least answer to the resin type for the previous Ents - the limbs, wings and horns were all the clear-type; white wasn't offered. I still haven't blushed my Ent-parts, though (and thanks to the awful weather, it looks like I won't get to do so any time soon), so I cannot answer to the rest. The ones I've seen look to have taken to blushing beautifully, though.
My roommate (Sims) did the blushing and she airbrushed them. She laid down an initial coat of MSC before she put down the color to help keep the clear resin from staining. She says it was easy to do.
Argh! My heart is torn... I -really- want one of the new Ent-girls in the LovelyB skin... but one look at Mielikki says I should know better... D:
Meet Lorelei-Rayne Delta Wade, my new girl!! I tried to post her box opening, but it won't open. Sorry about the pic---that's why I'm getting away from the iPhone and going Android...-.- but isn't she the cutest thing?
Just bumping up this thread with a clothing query. I've just paid the final payment on my girl but I have nothing to clothe her in other than my LTF clothes. I want her to be a fairy sprite and I know that some BJD makers do specialise in that type of doll but I have no idea who they are. Can anyone make any recommendations for etherial style clothing please? Thanks. Wonder, if I need to make a general request about this elsewhere?
My poor girls - I still haven't blushed any of their fantasy parts, though I have plans for them. >_< I've also neglected to get any good shots of them together, so this will have to do. They're Philomela Morea (tan Sweet) and Euphenia Leuce (pure rose Soda), my two little hamadryads. Morea is to be based on a mulberry tree and Leuce is a white poplar. They're going to wear all of their fantasy parts once I've got them ready, but they're going sans horns/wings until then. Once I get my two entaurs, I'll have to take them all out for a photo shoot together. X3
Not etherial, but they CAN wear CyCool girls clothes if you're looking for cheap goth/punk to tide you over while you save for something more fanceh. CyCool clothes are slightly bigger than Barbie clothes, especially in the chest. Some stetchy barbie items *might* work, I haven't tried. And they can wear Ruby Red Galleria In-Motion shoes, so I get awesome goth stomping boots for my girl there. (With their human feet on, of course) I bought an extra set of Ent wings and blushed them in blues and silvers instead of reds and oranges so I can have both a fire-fairy and a storm-fairy. My fire fairy has the ent body and a Soom head, my storm fairy will essentially be a littlefee with extra Ent parts attached. The horns I thought were too big for a tiny, so they ended up on my MSD fairy spirit girl. They look fantastic on her. I should get pics up at some point :P But they're SO fragile! She pretty much travels with her head jammed in a pillow.
O They are gorgeous and I love their names. I can't wait to see what you do with them. Are you going to make them clothes or will they just be blushed? I'm very envious that you will have two entaurs as well! Thanks for the shoe tip. I've not heard of cycool, I'll have to Google them. I love the concept of your girls. When my girl arrives I will gave an extra set if clear unblushed wings. I hope to add another ent to the family at some point. I need to work on their characters. I did wonder how the twigs would look on the ents as they are rather huge. I'd love to see a photo of your msd wearing them - in the right topic area of course!
When I get a chance to take shots of her at the meet this weekend I'll send ya a link. I'll also post some ent wing photos once I get Saika's face plate back from the artist :P I'd assume for shoes that they can wear the same shoes at Littlefee, since Littlefee is one of the other brands I know can fit the In Motion shoes. They're much skinnier clothes wise than my littlefee girl. They're somewhere between a Littlfee and a Resinsoul in terms of width, so they're not the easiest to dress.
