    1. Okay, I think I've decided on the Honey sculpt with elf ears.

      Now I need to figure out what resin color / fantasy horns I want. Who would've thought I'd be so overwhelmed with choices by such a sweet, tiny doll!

      Hehehe. Sorry about that, elsii -- I don't mean to enable. Oh wait, I kinda do. ;) If it helps you feel better, I'm waiting on a Bambicrony (I only ordered her when I did because she was being discontinued -- wasn't quite ready for her but took the plunge because I love the sculpt) and now I am trying to figure out a way to buy an SD-sized doll that's in stock (before someone else snags her) AND one of these little ones. All these expenses happen all at once, don't they? Funny... this month my property taxes are due, too. LOL!

      Thanks for the info on the resin color! I'm still torn. :XD: My husband votes for Rose, I'm leaning towards... one of each (I WISH). :XD:

    2. Adorable as they all are, I am definitely sold on Soda in Pure Rose. I still haven't decided between twig or wood horns.

      I would really like to get the blushing, though I can't which combination to get, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it right now. I could always get them clear and try my hand at blushing the fantasy parts later, since I don't care as much about the blushing on the rest of the body.

      On the other hand, I might cave on the blushing and request layaway. XD

    3. I am so impressed with Leeke customer service. It seems they will at least attempt any reasonable request - that makes me want to give their dolls a shot even more! I do love the Soda head so much and the new body is really interesting. The only thing holding me back is that I was never into fantasy dolls and I may not like the extra fantasy parts when they get here. On the other hand, it's the first fantasy doll to seriously tempt me. Hmm... going to have to sleep on it!

    4. Anna: You can easily sell the fantasy parts if you don't like them. A lot of other people do love the fantasy parts but can't afford the whole doll or would rather them for other dolls etc. These dolls come with human legs/feet also so you can easily have a human doll if you order one and decide you aren't into the fantasy aspects. ^_^

    5. Just in case anyone is planning to get all three dolls: I posted a question with Leeke and asked if I could get the premium membership and have Kiel Ent as my gift doll. I'd want her with body blushing, wigs and face-up so the total was $450. Premium membership is $500 and you save 5% on any future gift purchases for a year. Plus can get to choose a grey skin colour if you wish. Otherwise you can pick one L doll or two D dolls. Here is their response:

      Actually for those of you who just want the basic doll with the special body - I wonder if they'd do it if you bought the premium membership? You could ask. I've been considering the Premium membership for a while but hadn't had any real reason other than the 5% discount but if Kiel is available as the gift doll for Premium membership I'm really considering taking it up.

    8. oh my i'm so doubting between honey (with elf ears) and soda, and i need to make up my mind quickly...
      i know what color parts i want, know what wigs i want and i probably want snow skin, but i am so doubting between soda and honey sculpt, sigh...it makes my head hurt, so now i'mcollecting pictures f the two and putting them sie by side in a publisher document so i can compare...

      and thanks for the elf eared pics, they are cute...

      Edit: Scratch that, it seems Leeke updated their sales page saying Kiel's wig is for her only.

    11. Leeke's snow skin is more ivory than e.g. the new Lati white resin. Maybe comparable to Rosenlied white skin. IMO a lovely color.

      Does this mean I could actually get the Basic face-up for Honey?! That would be awesome ^^.

      They really uploaded new Cutie pics!! What a customer service O_O
      Argh, I'm still torn between Cutie and Honey. But Honey can have elf ears!

    14. I don't know why, but I liked the idea of the premium membership, but really needed a doll to make it worthwhile. At least this way, I'm likely to get a savings on the centaur as I think that if he looks anywhere as good as the illustration, I'm going to need him. I can see him in the multi-coloured resin. He would look incredible. I've always wanted a Mihael head as well so I'll probably wait for the next discount head sale and get one then. I think I'm likely to have Leeke layaways for the rest of the year.

    15. DeadLegato Leeke's basic skin is really pale. Or at least their early 2010 basic skin is... I only have Fairyland NS and Soom NS to compare it to in my house though >>Clicky click<< to see my basic skin Mint in natural light.

      Hobbysue you really have me thinking about the premium membership now! I wonder if they will let me buy the other sold out limiteds after the initial doll though or if it is just the first treat. I really want a Mingky! Anyhow, I still have more thinking to do on Cutie v Honey.

      Does someone here own one of the previous Leeke Fairies and a Soom Tiny (or other YoSD)??? I'd love to see some comparison pics of the bodies :aheartbea:aheartbea:aheartbea! I know the 2 gentle bodies differ, but it would be at least an indication how the newly desinged gentle body would look compared to other Yo-sized doll bodies.

    19. Huh. I'm going to have to think REALLY hard about what skin color, then, cuz the head I want to stick on the body is rather pink-ish. I know I'd have to do an airbrush job if I got the PureRose, but I'm not sure what would happen if I went with Basic Skin. It's hard to make a head go lighter, darker is easier.

      Nyeeer, someone convince me of what I want :P

      Although it seems like quite a few pure rose are being ordered!

    20. Oooh, that information about the premium membership is so tempting. I've always thought the membership sounded like a good deal, since it seems to essentially work out as getting a membership free as long as you buy $500 worth of the qualifying dolls, but I had never particularly wanted the dolls that were being offered. The offer of an Ent, however?

      Unfortunately, I think I'll be putting mine on layaway due to tight funds, so that wouldn't work out for the membership. Definitely good information to keep in mind for the future, though. :3
