It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     4. I keep telling myself that I should buy a new doll because it's an "investment". The conversation in my head is along the lines of, "I need this doll because I don't have one with this body type yet! I can make clothes for it and get a whole business going." And then over time I ended up with way too many dolls in desperate need of clothes and no patterns. :roll:

    6. I'm not the type to really give myself expectations when it comes to the hobby unless it's craft-related, but there was a time at the beginning when I said, "I'm so glad I don't like SDs. They're so expensive and take up so much space!" and then earlier this year I said, "Wow, I'm glad I'm not brimming with ideas. Once I finish my SD crew, I'll be done with buying dolls for good!" And then of course now there's four sculpts I want and a couple of doll concepts I don't have sculpts for yet.

    15. I'll never get a child/baby bjd.

      I have enough dolls and clothes. I might get more if something interesting pops up in front of me, but I'll never go browsing for more.

    17. Mine was that id just get 1 doll, possibly 2. And make sure to finish them lots of different outfits, i now have 3 dolls, 1 pet doll and 1 girl coming on the way! Oh well, time to try and finish some outfits i guess, i just get so distracted and full of new ideas that i want to create.

    18. "I'm only gonna buy two perfect dolls for our OCs" I said, and now ordered a new one because I like the face a lot and could use that one as a second head etc. And now I'm already in the rabbit hole of "I will just sell off the spare body, I only wanted the head anyway"... watch me get a different head for THAT body to make another doll and so on and so on...
