    1. Hmm, Soom might work, though I heard the consistency of their color makes it a little hard to approximate. Judging from the pictures here, LL's NS almost looks like Iplehouse NS, which is paler and more pinkish/peachy than Volks' yellow-toned resin. But again, hard to judge from photos only. = w =;; Too bad there wasn't any confirmation...

      The other thing I noticed is that the heads are a smaller circumference for most SD dolls (7.7 inch), so they probably take 7-8" wigs? I wonder how they would fit on bodies that have larger necks and shoulder width. I feel the LL body is a little too slim in terms of proportion, and yeah the mature faces would really match a taller body well. If I get Selina, I want her to be a very statuesque and imposing woman~ Maybe an Iplehouse SID body, if the match is good. :'3

    2. The resin match would be good also Iplewhite skin is pretty pinkish. I had one of those bodies in white and it was pretty pink compared to Dollzone. Sounds like this the LL WS is pinkish too. The neck on the IpleBody would need to be modded though since Iple's neck is 9.5 to LL's 8.5.

    3. Well, I can't say for Light Limner NS, but for WS...Soom NS wouldn't work. It's too darkly pink from what I recall of friends' dolls. I wonder if Iplehouse WS would work? I know that has a pink tinge. From my experience though, Iplehouse NS resin mellows to a more creamy tone after about a year no matter how you store it, so I wonder if WS would do the same and loose a lot of that pink? All my Iple dolls are also older now, so the resin formulas may have changed. They have that translucent resin now and all that too.

      Is the Light Limner NS pinkish like the WS?

    4. Ok, so I think I might be on to something, but need some second opinions.
      I stalked some of light limner's social media posts and found this:

      It looks like she made a head called "Jida" back in 2015 and the resin was described by her as being a match for Volks normal/white Pure skin. It is shown on the LL WS body in the same lace outfit as selina.
      Does anyone else think she made a Jida head? If this is the case, finding companies that have resin matches for Volks pure skin should get us close to a match? Thoughts, feedback anyone?

    5. Hm...I don't know. There does show one sold listing for Ji: DA on her etsy...but it is my understanding that DD WS and Volks WS resin don't match? So I don't see how Light Limner WS could match Volks WS if it matches DD WS. Lol...sort of convoluted, but I hope that made sense. :abambi:

    6. Ok, seems Volks WS resin is whiter than DD WS which is pinker. The only resin match offered thus far (for WS) is SQLabs, as we had thought of.

    8. Oh, definitely! It's not very hard to blush a head to match the body as long as the head is lighter than the body. I would have done that myself...if the head didn't already have a DROP DEAD GORGEOUS faceup. Hehe. :love

    9. I saw today that Pipos has a semi white skin option that looks pink toned. Has anyone seen this resin? I wonder if it would match at all. They have a belle body which is SD sized at 58cm.

      Hehe. In that regard, the Pipos body wouldn't help me too much, but I was just interested to see that pinkish tone as I don't find it that common in WS resins.

    12. It does seem lovely, but I agree with Lady Ravenswood, a tad taller would be nice. Also, I would like to get a review of the posing. There is not much information out there about these dolls from owners. They are quite pricey and I refuse to shell out 600.00 for a whole doll before feeling comfortable it is going to suit my criteria.

Infernale (80 cm) and Amelia Leec (75 cm) does are the tallest male and female resin made vampire BJDs of the world. Some others are sitting in the highest place because they can’t stand up as well as Ciera.

    18. My April Story body arrived just now!!! And it looks FANTASTIC. :chocoheart

      I'll post photos this evening (ugh, I have a shoulder injury and I have to wait for help to string the head on :sorry).
      The resin match is not perfect, but honestly, it's pretty reasonable. It's more of a pale white, instead of the pink tone white. But it doesn't have a very yellow cast like I feared it might. So I'm really quite happy. Just a tad of pinkish blushing would probably make it unnoticeable pretty quick.
      And like I said, I can't string the head on yet (or hands...or heel feet), but the proportions looked great to me just holding the head in place on the neck. Hehe. ;)

    19. Ok! I got the head on the body. ^__^
      Personally, I think it needs a neck donut now that it's all attached, but that's an easy fix.
      And the resin match is close enough that my camera couldn't really pick it up. ^.^"

      bodies are aesthetically pleasing in their design and details too and it compliments the head.
