Lillycat Tinycherry Aglae, Lulu & Colline discussion part 1

Well my order was 304,17 € anyway so I just went with the three layaway payments!

Does anyone know how long it usually takes lillycat to send after a preorder like this? It's my first time ordering from her!

edit: on that note, I didn't see any waiting room - is there one for lillycat cerisedolls?

 

There was a waiting room, and I remember posting in it when I ordered my blue Colline. I can't find it now, not even in my forum posts.

 

The preorders and orders are so small there's really no need - I was just curious!

 

Oh! I meant to ask - with the new V.2 bodies - do monster high tops fit them? There are a couple etsy sellers who make cute clothes for MH dolls and I was thinking of ordering something for my new girl from them! But I didn't want to do so without knowing for sure. I know there was some discussion about the MH tops not fitting the V.1 bodies but I hope they fit perhaps with the slightly larger bust now?!

 

MH tops are still a loose fit. She has a very tiny little waist. I found that azone picco neemo (1/2) size fits decently if you can get the hands through the sleeves, and Novi Stars dresses are a similar fit. I've been meaning to try out some Realpuki size sweater dresses from Etsy as tops for my Colline. I'll report once I get one for testing.

MH pants are a good fit if they aren't too long, and pukifee leggings work as capri length.

 

Ah bummer. Raouken was making MH corsets and they're so stunning! Maybe I can get a custom commission for one that will fit her bitty waist. I was trying to find picco neemo outfits that fit her character but they mostly seem to be maid outfits or lolita which aren't really the aesthetic I'm going for unfortunately (especially since some of them are SUPER cute!) I haven't heard of Novi Stars before so I'll go take a look too. I have an extra dress for my Dust of Dolls Krot Ärie that might fit her as a cute top (but it isn't really her style either).


As a side note I've started calling her Starling in my head (like the birds) so that might stick as her name!

My hope is that some of the Etsy Seamstresses will start making clothing for her that suits her more mature body. So far most of the stuff that I have looked at that might fit seems too little girlish.
And also that tiny head! I ordered a wig size 3.5 for her and I really hope that it will fit.
This is really going to be a tough wait. I really can't wait to see her in person. More spam would really be nice!

 

Agreed on the more spam part!

For the wig - if it's too large just by a bit try a wig cap - that helped on my DoD Krot's head since she's a size 3 and her first wig was a 3-4 and a little large. If it's STILL too large, you can try sewing it tighter. I've only done it with larger wigs but I suspect you could do it on a tiny one if you are careful!

 

Does anyone know what size furniture would be best; 1/12 or 1/6?

No but I will have to hunt one down when my money situation is better.. Dammit. I promised myself to get one next time she has her on sale but I had to break that promise! It is so annoying.. But post loads of pictures please! never feel like youre spamming your dolls, the more Colline pictures the happier I am!

I decided to get one because I know secondhand prices will rocket upwards - I paid a hefty price for not getting my dust of dolls girls when they were released! Best of luck in getting one - now or down the road! I promise to post lots of photos when my girl arrives!

 

Lillycat just announced there would not be any tiny preorder again... go for them before it's too late!

 

Like for this year .... Or like ever? I'm a bit confused. I've got colline ordered, so I'm not worried.... I would have liked another colline in the future tho, or an aglae

 

I BOUGHT IT!!! aaah I couldn't hold myself! x) my familys gonna be so shocked... :') but I was gonna regret it so much...

just wrote a long txtmsg to my boyfriend, since we agreed to not get it in the end.. but now the situation changed so I hope he understands!

Huh. Apparently the tinies don't sell well enough to continue to offer. I think she said she was going to offer artist cast. It's really sad they aren't more popular.

I'm just tickled I'm getting one though. She'll be one I never part with since I can't replace her now.

Oh no, I'm so sad to hear that! I feel like she could be upfront with interested customers about needing a minimum of orders (with like a $100 deposit) to get a cast and then when the order min is reached she'll place it. It might take a couple months... maybe longer - and then another few months with casting and everything.... But I'd be happy to wait that long if it meant tiny ones! So sad to hear! However, I love her artist cast dolls too so I'm hoping maybe she'll produce more of them as a result! The granite Eugenie she's doing right now is STUNNING!!

[MENTION=63389]mlefever[/MENTION] - I am saddened by the news too because I had been hoping to maybe get another tiny from her or that Colline would be released in another fun resin color! I put a message on her board about maybe doing a minimum order request so that she could perhaps keep doing them - less frequently, obviously, but not stop entirely.

Ah, I saw what she said about no more tinies! ;3; I can understand since casting is expensive, but I still hope she'll change her mind later!

 

These beauties seem to have large hips. Are they well strung or no?
