1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Lillycat Tinycherry Aglae, Lulu & Colline discussion part 1

Sep 28, 2013

    1. Well I hope that she finds another wonderful home then.

Gotta go look at the site now!

    2. I've had thoughts of selling my aglae even though she just got home. She's so adorable but she's a pain to pose :(

    3. I agree. I have one from last year's release and she's more difficult to pose than this year's dolls but they will all get worse.
I love their untraditional size but they're not "fun." It took me a half hour to get 3 of them to stand up next to each other for a few skin comparison shots.

    4. Maybe it's the head size. My little Colline has been pretty nice to pose. I would like to suede her and wire her hands just for wide pose ranges but she stands like a rock! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble!

    5. so cute! I want one!!!

    6. Nah, it's not her head, my 2014 is very kicky, it's not tight stringing, she just crosses her legs, even my new one does this already but not to the same extent. The problem definitely seems to be in the legs alone for mine.
And all 3 that I have seem to have the left leg slightly shorter than the right leg!!

    7. I did a quick faceup on Mahsa... I forgot how difficult it is to do tiny faces so this will just be temporary until I get smaller brushes @___@

    8. Thank you for sharing SmoteyMote! I love seeing your girl and she looks great. Very exotic.

    9. I ended up wiring the legs on mine but it doesn't seem to help the crossing of her legs :/ I've restrung her and wired her. I'm hesitant to suede her if I'm going to sell her bc I know not everyone likes sueding

    10. SmokeyMote, your girl is awesome. I have two Collines - pink and blue - that I adore.

Ballerina, both of my girls cross their legs too. I just go with it and pose them accordingly. I consider it part of their charm. I have thought of using Nexcare in their joints to help them pose, but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

I wanted to share this beautiful group shot that Jessica took at our last meetup! Mahsa looks so tiny even compared to the two Dust of Dolls Krots!

    12. Huh, my girl doesn't cross her legs at all and poses super well. x_x

I just ordered some alpaca fiber to try to make a wig for Mari since I'm tired of her being bald. XD

    13. Where did you get her awesome dress?

    14. It's a picco neemo dress! ^_^

    15. I love all these girls! I was actually just about to PM you GamerGirlLexi about your girl FS but then saw she was in the graveyard >.> I think I'll have to post a wtb for these cuties. It does seem like wigs are hard to find though!! Any new recommendations on wigs?

    16. Yeah, I decided to keep her cause I love her too much... ; 3; I knew I would regret it. ~3~ I hope you can find one!!! ♡ ♡ ♡

    17. Ah I'm so happy you did, she is adorable! I love her wings especially!! Did you make them? I just posted a wtb so let's hope ^^

    18. I had mine up too, but redid her faceup for better sale value and fell in love! Had to keep her. It helps to know that Lillycat won't be making anymore, so she's more valuable as a keeper.

    19. Mahsa may be the tiniest SmoteyMote, but she certainly has plenty of presence among the 'bigger' dollies.

Love that you are keeping your Mari Gamer Girl. She is adorable even bald, but will love to see her with hair too.

I really love these tiny cuties, just need to find some shoes now.

    20. I love my Lillycat wigs, but they are too big, and so are the silicone wig caps I bought. So, I have to find another way to get these to stay put.
