Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. I bought a Leda from JS the day before yesterday and I feel very lucky to be able to get one because I noticed they were sold out earlier today. I'm so curious about this girl. The only Limhwa I've seen irl was an half-elf and she was beyond beautiful. So if Leda is only half as beautiful I will be so happy! :D

    3. My blank girl just arrived yesterday. Hopefully I will get some time to give her a proper face-up over the weekend. To my surprise and delight she came with her extra high heeled feet and a pair of high heeled resin shoes.

    8. I finished modding her head (I wanted her to look a little more mature) and decided to start her face-up by doing her eyebrows. I find different eyebrow styles have a dramatic effect on how a face looks.

      This is what she looks like at the moment:

      Here's a before and after of the modding. Note I narrowed the nose a bit, flattened the upper lip slightly and sanded the lower part of her cheek because I believe cheeks get hollower as we age?

    10. I received Leda yesterday and I'm ecstatic! She is perfect in every way and I can't stop looking at her. Talk about love at first sight. :D I borrowed a wig and eyes she can wear until the ones I ordered from Kemper and Dollshe (eyes) arrive. Neither fit very well but at least the wig doesn't fall off. I had quite a few msd clothes already (originally ordered for another doll that didn't work out). All the clothes and shoes from Alice's Collections fit her like a dream as well as most items from etsy. I couldn't be happier about this girl. Her expression is lovely and the face up is very delicate.

    12. I would love to take pictures of her. :D I just need to find the usb cord so I can connect the camera to the computer. It bugs me that I can't find it because I have picture requests both for Leda and for my Chloe. I'm still looking for more clothes and shoes for Leda but it's difficult to find things that are more mature yet "romantic". I have a specific style in mind that are mature but not modern either. So no jeans and t-shirts for this girl. :lol:

      In addition to doing her face-up I've been busy hot-glue sueding and wiring her and molding her torso so that she can sit reasonably straight.

      Basically I enlarged the spaces for the thigh joints slightly so she could lift her legs higher. If you do it right you can get her legs up to almost 90 degrees without spoiling the look of her body. I was in a bit too much of a hurry with mine and accidentally overdid it one one side but you can avoid this by marking where the top of the thigh is on the torso and marking a line about 1mm or so below the outline of the thigh. Then when you start to enlarge the space you have a marker of how much to remove and when to stop.
