Oh, thanks a lot, gothiclibrarian! It's always fun when more than one doll can be discussed in a single thread.

 

Gothiclibrarian thanks for adding in Sujan! I hope it wasn't too much trouble. It's has been so hard to find out any information about her from owners. She is so mysterious! I still can't believe I can 't find pictures of her. Thanks again! Your thread is a fantastic thread.

Kattungethank you so much for your thoughtful response. It was helpful to hear your line of thought on what makes Leda so special to you. I was hesitant at first to get one because there is so few information about them. It's great to hear that they outperform other dolls with their lifelike features. I also enjoy mature MSD sculpts, and I agree they are hard to find. Hopefully Limhwa will read your mind and make more! Lol.

 

Yes, I bought her from JunkySpot when she was in stock. I think that was the first order that Sujan was available.

My husband is getting better! I will try to get a picture this weekend.

 

I'm on the verge of ordering one of these lovely ladies! Sujan is very beautiful, but I think I will go first with Leda. I've been wanting her for some time. Although it's not a big issue for me, it is good to know that she poses reasonably well. I too really like her mature look.

 

Kattunge, here's a shot of my girls together. I think I understand what kind of aesthetics you're looking for. Honestly, I don't think that you'll find another doll sculpted as well as Leda. So, the only other friend you can get for your Leda is Sujan! I agree with you that Limhwa bodies are unparalleled in their both beauty and posing abilities, though, I love my Narae girls to pieces.

Sorry, I just noticed that their heads are tilted!

nancy_schroeder_ca, I hope that your husband is feeling better! It would be lovely to see both Leda and Sujan together. Does the resin color differ a lot?

 

Nimrod: Your girls are all beautiful even if they are different styles of dolls. I like the tilted heads!

My Leda is French resin and Sujan is normal urethane.

 

Nimrod thank you for sharing a photo of your girls. They are amazing! I love their faceups and evening wear! Leda's head doesn't look too out of proportion from the photo. She also looks so slim next to your JID.

 

Oh, you're welcome! I'm glad it wasn't just a long post of boring. I was the same way when I first began to think of buying my Leda, but then I just jumped in, and so far, no regrets.. It would be so great if Limhwa made more! And a gloomy yes to mature/realistic minis sadly being less plentiful than they should be... ^^

That's so wonderful--I hope you really love her when she finally arrives! More love for the Limhwa's--yay!

Thank you lots, Nimrod! Your dolls are all so lovely--your Iplehouse is especially stunning to me! Yup, I'm rather doomed in the way of finding other dolls from different companies to go with Leda, aren't I? She's just too unique in a way! lol And lately that Sujan has been climbing and clawing her way up my want list anyway... Narae faces are some of my few favorites, and I would have definitely owned one if I wasn't so picky about posing. >< Thanks again for the photo! And tilted faces aren't a problem. ^^

Thank you, Zinna!!! The photos really show their differences and similarities--could make super nice sisters if desired. I especially appreciate the comparison to Asa, it truly helped me decide if she would work or not with my Leda. Each of them are so beautiful too! ^^

Dollique, thanks! Well, Leda is wearing Tyler dress, so she is rather slim. I've never thought that she'll fit in it. Imagine the possibilities!

Sujan is so moody looking, I like that with her, may have to see if I can get her later this year. She is gorgeous! Does she come with high heel feet or are they seperate to buy?

 

My Leda came not only with high heeled feet but resin shoes too, probably the same for Sujan
