I am new to this thread and it does not look too active right now.

I have just received my second Limhwa, both having come form the secondary market. My first Limhwa needed sueding to help her pose but the new girl is impossible to pose. She has “loose” legs. I mean really loose but her arms are tight. Go figure? The arms are so tight that you can not bend them as the fling themselves back to the down or straight out position. I mean, I am not sure if she is strung incorrectly or what? Please let me know if you have experienced this problem and what you did to improve her posing. Thanks..

 

jo1961: The arms are stringed separately from the legs. I mean that it's not the same elastic than the leg's one. So it is possible that arms and legs are strung differently. Try and loose a bit the arms and string the legs "harder".

Thank you for the prompt reply. So it sounds as if I will need to restring her. I have done it with porcelain but never the resin. Ah...such fun. Not really looking forward to this.

Well I'm not a fan of restringing too I try avoiding it if it's possible, but sometimes it really sucks when the doll doesn't pose as you want it to do

My Luna is really tight and snappy, Jo. A real finger-pincher. I have considered restringing her, too, to see if that would help. She will hold a pose pretty well once you get her in it. I think I may have hot-glue sueded her in the past.

The dollheart dress is gorgeous! Now I can’t wait for my dollheart items to arrive.

 

My Limhwa half-elf is about to come home after having her face-up done by the talented Angeltoast. She's a burlesque dancer but really a tomboy at heart.

Wow, that's a transformation. Her face up is beautiful. I'd love to see more pics of her complete. I've just heard that my half elf has arrived at Junky Spot so I'm expecting her by the end of next week. So excited to see her now.

 

Everybody's girls are so pretty!
I've been meaning to share this comparison picture of three of the five Limhwa 57 girls together in the discussion thread for a while. The Half Elf, Elly, and Luna for any one who has ever wanted to see what these three girls look like together:

(FYI they're all French resin. Ros, the half elf, is the oldest and is from the very first ordering of these girls six years ago).
In the promo pictures they almost look like the same sculpt with minor differences, but in RL they all are very different. In my opinion any how. They definitely do have "family traits" though.

Hey guys, I was just wondering how long the Limhwa girls generally take to get sent out? I know the website says 6 weeks (for tan, which is what I would want), but I was wondering about any delays or anything they might have lately.

My Limhwa is finally reunited with her body but boy...is she a pain to pose! I can't decide if she's too loose or too tight. Her upper torso falls to the side in weird angles and her knees buckle inwards. Forget sitting up. Any recommendations?
