So...I've seriously been considering one of these little guys, but am on the fence because I've been wondering about their posing abilities. Any thoughts on it? Thanks!
arrowchild - Alistair is double jointed, but he does have some issues posing. A little bit of sueding does the trick normally. He stands fairly well, but he does arch his back, back a lot. His knee joints are really interesting, the peanut has a lock on both sides (top and bottom) and his knees bend quite a bit. He has rotational thigh joints, which are nice, but a pain to work with when trying to get him to stand again after sitting. He has butt-locks much like DZ. If you want I can take some posing shots of him for you! The girl and boy body are identical except for the pecker.
I'd love to see some shots Isabeth I have a Mono and a Mano and both are single jointed, good to hear these little ones are double jointed, (though, I have to admit...I'm not a fan of the butt locks lol)
Yantar-s: Thank you for the nice compliment on Lucy. She does have a gentle spirit. arrowchild: Posing is fairly good. I discovered a knotch at the back of torso joint that helps lean her forward when sitting. I really love my Lucy. I don't understand why they are not popular as others. Lucy is modeling a wig from WildeImagination Ellowyne Lizette doll.
Wah! I went ahead and ordered my little Do boy, (would still LOVE some posing pics so I know what to expect ). I'm so excited about him, and glad I ordered when I did as I must have gotten the last one Jspot had in stock
arrowchild - I have a tan Do boy, he really is wonderful and has a lot of personality! I will take some posing pictures of him today! I was busy all of yesterday... He really is a great doll, but full of himself! He knows he's pretty, why do my dolls keep doing that?
Hello I'm super excited to find this thread. We (my 12 year old daughter and I) are just getting our very first doll and we have ordered a Limhwa Mimi from the Junkyspot. I'm still waiting to get the invoice, but Emory at least already emailed me and said he sent the pre-order so I know at least he will be invoicing me soon. I've been taking the time to search out pictures to see what other's have done with their Tiny Limhwa's and I was surprised that there wasn't a whole lot. I'm guessing that's due to a small company and them being new line of dolls? I ordered ours with normal skin and a faceup. It will be about 60 days or so before she gets here!

Wow she's so pretty! I like seeing her in a short and a long wig too it helps me see if she's versatile or not. It was a big toss up between getting Mimi or Dodo but Mimi won in the end because my daughter liked her eyes a little more. Having this thread and being able to look at the comparison pics was a huge help in deciding too! I'm always trying to find things to share with my daughter but I'll admit I was the one more interested in this at first then her. I've been trying to be careful not to over do it and "doll her out" as she says. But I feel like I can justify the expense a lot more if it's not just for me. Something we can share time spent together and making memories.

Here's my little guy with his special spring time face-up that I did for BJDCollectasy Riddles was such a fun little model for this! I haven't decided if he's keeping this face-up or not, especially since it means he's currently sharing a wig with my other little guy, Popo...we'll see...
