Limhwa ToYou discussion part 1

If I am not mistaken, Soom Mini Gem shoes should fit To You (the ones that are listed as 3 cm). The white Mary Janes do look like the ones pictured on ToYou in the shoe thread. These also look like the same shoes NotDoll is selling for their Roxydoll Lucy.

Veruca went out this past weekend. She's really really gorgeous.

With the facepainting on ToYou, we looked at a lot of them. Basically "less is more" as they say. Go with a light hand and thinned paint. They are very delicate and beautiful.

Limhwa told us that sales of ToYou might end in December, 2006. I guess she has several dolls she is making now.
If that is the case, we might have to stockpile some, oh noes!

I just Anna back from Starfall with her face up. I'll try to get more detailed pictures when there is better light. I have to admit that I was shocked how much I missed having her around. I just love her with her face up she's so sweet!

I'll post pictures ASAP. Veruka came today! She is the sweetest little thing! She looks like a miniature BJD! Her hands are amazing and her face is adorable! Thank you so much Catrina and Hillary, I love her!

 

Can't wait to see her. Please hurry and post, I am impatient, lol! With Limhwa stopping production of this doll I am going to have to get her asap!

Okay, it's settled. I must have a ToYou!! lol---no one is surprised at all, are they? Really, my desire for a Limhwa doll grows every time I see a picture of one, and that comparison shot of Cherryghost really pushed me over the edge. My little Min Del Re will be a perfect To You buddy!

My question for you regarding clothes---I collect vintage Francie doll, and she is smaller in the bust than Barbie. Do you think her clothes will fit?

 

Yes Hibiscus, you do need one! She is so delicate and sweet! I think she might fit in your Francie clothes as she is slighter than Barbie.

that's really sad. i really love mine, so i hope everyone who wants one gets the chance to get one if they end up being halted. toyou is such a lovely, delicate creature.

 

She is truly lovely and delicate! The detail on her body and hands is unreal. I promise to take pictures as soon as it stops raining!

I've always wanted a 1/6 BJD, and I think ToYou is perfect! But she might be cut from production in December? Well, I guess the artist must be very busy with her lovely new 1/3 coming out. I guess I'll have to save up quick =)
