Limhwa ToYou discussion part 1

no problem STELLA MARIS, glad to be o service.
i would raccomend visiting a doll shop that carries KISH products to try some
shoes first to see if you like the look . some of the shoes listed online as being for riley are made from other companies and may, or may not, look good on toyou. most i think will work.
also: the shoes made for riley's friend "tulah" also fit . since she is a bit bigger
the shoes are a bit chunkier but , to me at least, resemble some of the ever popular "lolita" style shoes.
online both denver doll emporium and dolls and friends have a large selection
of shoes for riley.make sure they are for the 7 inch dolls as kish and company
makes dolls in several sizes.

hi fitz.
the shoes i tried on , that normally belong to my "first recital" riley ballerina,
fit snug and don't look wide or loose on her foot.
keep in mind that its a shoe that was made for a 7 inch child and now being used for a 10 inch young adult .
the style is simple , without straps andwith low heels and i think they look
stylish(in my humble opinion as a guy).
there is quite a few options available at denver doll emporium, if that helps.

just another note :
at denver doll emporium they have a camisole and panty combination for riley
that i suspect would work really well as everyday underthings for toyou.
however, i haven't had a chance to test this theory out.
just thought i should mention it.

I found the lingerie from Tiny Kitty (Tonner) as well as all her clothes, (not shoes) fit ToYou perfectly. Also some of the new smaller Barbie clothes fit her really well. Barbie has been redesigned and alot of her things now fit ToYou and Uyoo better than before.

 

Thanks guys, for the info. I to havfound a lot of knits for barbie, fit great. Some need taking in at the sides. But all in all they are fun cheap clothes.

 

oh i fell in love with ToYou and want her badly now, waiting on reply of limhwa.com

she has such a beautiful body, she is just all around beautiful!
if any of you owners have more pictures, or feel like taking some more, i am open to them :P (more please)

 

They are discontinued unfortunately, but she is making a new doll that size called forme. I guess she will be sold at the next preorder, and that will be announced by CAtrina. SO just keep an eye out in this forum.

a dream come true, i am so happy to get her, because i already thought i won't be able to now!!

So sorry for the delay, we were at a doll show and just got back today.

To You is discontinued but soon we will have ToMe available in a limited number.

We hope to get more info soon about ToMe and how much they are.

thankyou for the info on ToMe, but i am now getting a ToYou from toydogz4, i am so glad about that.

what i wanted to say, from reading all the threads about the Limhwa artist, Jung Ji Yung, i have gotten a deep respect for her and her work, and now i am so glad i can adopt an artpiece of her.
do you think the artist would share a picture of herself in her atelier? that would be too cute to see

 

Her creator is just the cutest girl, she is in her 20's but looks like a teenager. Very pretty.

i wanted to say something about shoes, i can't be sure yet, but as soon as my ToYou gets here i'll try the high top sneakers i bought for my pullips, i think they could fit ToYou nicely, if the front part of the feet is not too broad..
anyway, i am talking about really cute sneakers from the ebayseller pocowai, they have quite many other shoes aswell, and they all have the measurements in the description. the high top sneakers are 3.5cm long, the inside from my guessing measures 3cm, so they should fit.

i will try that when i get my girl and give you a heads up and photos then


(...although i am not sure if sneakers will fit her style because i have a feeling she will be elf-goddess like.... hmm)
