    2. Thank you very much! I do like him now. I just wish there'd been some communication about the resin color from Limhwa prior to the dolls being cast. I would have opted for something else, but the sculpt really does slay me and I like seeing all the different ones too.

      I wonder if anyone else has re-done the face-up? I didn't want to, but I couldn't dye him properly without taking it off.

    3. I will redo the face-up eventually, but my To L still needs to get home. I like what you did with the face-up, Kittymaru. The thinner eyebrows suit your boy.

      Maybe someone should start a To L database or would that be a bit too much for just 16 dolls?

    4. Wow, that's really strange!! O_o This batch of tan really DOES look more orange than 2008's. I have a first-batch tan Mano, & he has reddish-cinnamon tones, but he's definitely brown. It's nothing like that golden-ochre shown in some of these pictures. Maybe she took the opportunity of a small LE run to experiment with new dyes or formulas... to not-entirely-successful effect...

      Even so, I can't believe how beautiful he looks in person! :love: What a lovely face, very tender and princely. I like the soft almond-shaped eyes. And those fabu Limhwa lips. <3 You're right, he looks a lot shyer than Mano, and his nose doesn't look like it's ever been broken in any bar fights. ^^ Congratulations, you guys!

      So how many of the 16 To-Ls have ended up here on DOA? Do we have a head-count?

    9. Well... the letter from our German customs didn't arrive.
      I didn't want to wait any longer.
      So I went to the customs office and asked if I can pick him up without that letter.

      He was there since wednesday said the officer.
      And yes, I was able to take him home :)

    13. Faceup looks quite similar to mine, too. The eye color on my guy is a pretty blue-violet, though.

      Does anyone know what brand of eyes these are, by the way? Because I really, really love my boy's eyes and would like to track down the maker for future eye needs.

    15. Ferdi has also been tangoed...ie he's very very orange. I have to admit to the same feelings of disappointment. I put him straight back in his box and haven't had the heart to get him out again.

      His eyes are amazingly green though. I second the motion to find out where these fab eyes are from.

      His number is 5 for reference.

    17. I have taken my Mano out of storage and sitting them together, the To L tan looks ridiculous.

      I have emailed Dollfair to say that its really not what I was expecting from the promo pics. I don't think they can do anything but at least in future, maybe Limhwa will go back to the old tan, if people who are dissatisfied speak up.

      Its such a shame because he is really beautiful. :(

    18. I'd be interested to hear what they say. I think my letter's being translated and passed along to Limhwa, so no real response yet. I just wish I'd known that the tan was going to be orange. I'd have ordered him in a different color.
