Little Monica - Little Harmony Line Discussion

Sorry that I couldn't get a better picture sooner, laurenk418! Here is a picture of my blank Elena from beneath her head so that you can clearly see what her mouth looks like. In person her lips look slightly parted, but it doesn't look like her teeth are very obvious unless the face up stresses that (which I imagine Little Monica's does!). Ignore how evil she looks from this angle.

 

Don't worry about it, I'm just happy you took one at all! Hmm, this hasn't put me off ordering elena but I may want to mod her mouth to open up the gap a bit more. Thanks for the photo!

If you mean the default faceup, there are several photos of my boy earlier in the thread. I don't have any new ones right now unfortunately ;w;

 

I am sort of in love with Jeremy I may end up adding him to my list of soon to get boys...the only thing is, I don't like his eyebrows much, will LM change small things in the faceup, or are they firmly against it? I dunno why I like him so much, I usually don't like smiling dolls, but he is just so different and interesting...

 

Maybe that would be included with the "Other Face up"-option they offer? You should ask them

Jeremy was instant on my "want to buy list", I totally have a thing for dolls with smiles (he would be the fourth after my Iple Joshua, FreakStyle Puck and MNF Juri '11). Good thing that I was looking for a concept of my incoming hybrid and I already thought about changing the head Jeremy will get the Doll Chateau spider body and the old head will get another one, but they will stay together.

And as I am posting here I leave one photo of my Little Kliff (with his brother) here, I changed his body too (from DC 08 to 02, because the handling is better and he is a lot cuter now). Actually it is the same body as a few pages back, I never have shown him here with the other one, oops.

 

Hey guys! I'm thinking of giving my Minifee a Little Harmony body, but I have a few questions for existing LM customers!

I know this line is Slim MSD, which is perfect. How is the posing of these bodies? Is it easy, flexible? Can it hold poses well? I mean I know Minifee bodies are considered the best posers, so I don't expect them to be on the same level (I actually can't get my Minifee to do much either), but I wouldn't want to spend money on a body that doesn't pose well. How are the knee joints? Do they bend properly or do they twist and show the elastic? I've seen this picture with the girl on the left, and it's making me a little hesitant.

Hmm.. what else. What are some things I should know about? Is the heel leg a good choice, or should I get the normal jointed ones? Do they take Minifee/Unoa/Narae sized clothes properly as well?

If anyone has any nude minifee to LH body comparison photos I would greatly appreciate it

Also, is there any dealers out there that work with LM and may have in stock bodies? The MP here doesn't have a lot of people selling them. How would you describe the LM waiting times if I decide to order directly from them?

LH body is easy to pose. I used to have mnf too, but despite the famous posing capabilities, I couldn't get mine to do much either. Especially their inability to slouch. Would take photo of LH and mnf together, but alas I sold mine already.
LH torso joint is easy, can slouch, backward, and side to side, can be too easy at times. I wish they're a bit more rounded (the inside part), like Luts' new mdf line or Asleep eidolon. Leg joints can be easily pose too, no need to re-route the string like mnf does.
But yes, the knee is single jointed, so when kneeling/bended more than 90 degree, not as pretty as mnf, I'm afraid. And they are a bit top heavy.
For heel leg or heel feet, I personally prefer heel feet. The heel leg is pretty if you like the clean streamlined look.
Clothes wise, mine share narae fine. But those clothes can be a bit big for mnf.
I don't know any dealer, I bought direct from them, and the wait time is normal, under 2 months, if I remember correctly. But it was a few years back, might want to ask the waiting room for current wait time.

 

Last year my Bear took almost exactly 2 months.

 

My order around Christmas took 3 months, but my last order from them recently was just one month

I really like Jeremy too! Hes such a cutie. I'm thinking he would be a great girl too--with lots of freckles?

Also, I should FINALLY have a body for my Elena by next week! Super excited.

 

So I found a comparison photo of a minifee head on a LH body and unfortunately for me, the skin tone match is wayyyy off. The LH skin is much lighter than Minifee NS :') This means that I won't be getting the LH body, sadly..

 

Chamillia, yeah the skin tone is not exactly the same. LH is more pinkish while mnf is more peachy. Mind sharing the link? I'm curious. Thanks

 

They have pics of girl Jeremy on the Hidden LM board, he is soooo cute, they are killing me with him right now. I am going to get a faceup form one of the other dolls for certain now, just need to decide which one will be cute but not make him look evil >,<

 

Jeremy is so cute! I would love to get an LH someday, it would be hard to decide though since I love all the sculpts.

I was able to free my Jeremy head from the customs yesterday. He was shipped on the 8th ... and the customs hold the head hostage for more than a week =_= .. but hey he is finally here

Jeremy is one of my new favorites! I am glad you got a chance to get his head, because those eyes are just so special and droopy…I think that Jeremy will be the very next doll I invest in. Are you doing the face up yourself, or are you having someone else do it? I think there are a lot of amazing things you can do with that sculpt, so I can't wait to see him finished!
