1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Little Monica - Little Harmony Line Discussion

Apr 15, 2012

1. SHE'S HOME!!! I'm so happy! She's perfect! I will take some photos of her tomorrow and post here ^^

2. My girl is naked and blank but still so pretty ;)

I will make her face up this week so she will soon look better ^^

3. She is gorgeous! Congratulations on your new girl! Do you happen to like their shade of white?

4. Yes I love it! She has a little bit of pink tone in white resin and it looks great in real! I am thinking about blushing her, but I don't know if I will do that. I like her resin color just like it is ;)

5. Does anyone know please - do Little Monica allow genderswap requests on their dolls? For example if I wanted to buy Little Kliff but with a girl's body swapped for the boy's?

Or would I have to buy the head and a separate girl body and put them together myself?

Thank you! ^^;

6. You have the body option (girl/boy) in each cart of the dolls. The same way you choose resin color, faceup, etc. You don't need to buy them separately.

7. Thank you! :)

So...since the company are ok with doing this, I guess their vendors will take requests for it too? For example Alice's Collections don't have an option to request the different body like Little Monica's website, but it should be ok if I request in the comment section of the order?

8. That would be logical, but if I were you I would write to alice collection first and just ask them how they want you to make your order. Maybe they prefer you to add pieces separately. I don't really know...

9. Just ask Alice in advance. She makes the orders through email, but I'm positive she will just ask you to write the notes in the comments when you make an order :)

10. Thanks so much you guys, will do! *salutes* This has opened up so much more to the wishlist, haha. LM's boys look amazing as cute girls!!

Hey, I noticed on LM's website they have the gender switching option for the Little line, but not the Harmony line. Is it perhaps not possible to switch the heads of the bigger dolls, are they less compatible? I was wondering if it would even be possible to put Haazel (Grand Harmony) head on a Harmony girl body. He's so ridiculously beautiful but there's just no room for boys in my collection right now, plus a 70cm size doll would scare me

11. I know for a fact that Grand Harmony (I'll call them GH the rest of the post) sized heads are compatible with Harmony sized boy bodies since I have a friend that asked. LM claims the heads are the same size, however if you want a GH head on a Harmony body you have to buy them separately. I would ask LM for pictures of a GH head on a Harmony Girl body. They are very nice so if they have heads and bodies available they will take the picture for you.

They have the body switching obtion on the Harmony girl sculpts I believe, since there's a Harmony boy chest part made for girl heads.

Good luck with all of that!

12. Does anyone know how the minifee clothes/little gem clothes fit the little monica boy body? Trying to buy outside the company in terms of clothing for the first time and i'm worried about how they'll fit *_*

13. tharlenne thank you! I've sent them a question about it :)

14. You're welcome!

About laurenk's question, I'm curious too!

15. Hello thread! I don't think I've been here before. I really have my eye on Little Sophia and I'm so happy to see the first pictures of her here! Does anyone know how she looks next to a Minifee girl? Aside from one DC all my MSD girls are Minifees, so I'd like to make sure she fits in with them.

This is my boy Finlay, who came home from Ldoll with me last October. He's only just starting to come into his own characterwise, so I've never done too much with him until now. I do also have a MNF boy and yes, they can share clothes no problem. LM's body is quite slim, but so is the MNF obviously :)

16. @Wennie, It's nice to see someone else in this thread who also picked up their LM doll from LDoll 5! The staff manning the table were so nice. Seeing how cute your boy is in the modern times outfit makes me wish I'd picked one up there when I had the chance :doh Also thanks for the answer on the mnf clothes!

17. I am so sorry for not posting box opening/pics of my Kliff! Poor buddy has been all dressed up on the dolly shelf (still nameless), but I've been insanely busy to even look through the pics I took of his box opening! :...( Curse you, exams! <shakes fist>

To whoever asked about MNF clothes - my Kliff wears MNF girl shirts, leggings and skirts with no issues.

I have couple of days off studying or I'll go nuts, I'll look through the pics tomorrow and link my box opening here!

Few review-ish style notes about the doll:

- Default face-up is VERY pretty and well done. He doesn't look as 'sad' IRL as he does on company pictures.
- Body blushing isn't as strong as on the company pictures, it's lighter and more natural.
- He fits MNF wigs/clothes. Normal MSD wig needs a cap or velcro to stay on.
- He's so floppy, he looks like a puppet on a string! I'm too lazy to restring him (and not experienced in restringing a doll with body blushing), but despite his floppyness he stands just fine.
- I got a bunch of lovely gifts (candy, doll sized Teddy), certificate. Pretty sure I took pics of them, will post them with box opening.
- His shipping box was PERFECT for his internal box, hence why I dodged customs. He looked tiny and was under 2kg, the box is much smaller and more tailored to the doll's size than e.g. LUTS who ship their MSDs in these wide boxes.
- He was marked for $32? I think, I have to check shipping label.
- I only contacted Little Monica once (to ask when he'd ship), they were very swift to respond, perfect English, very polite. He shipped the same day they provided ^^

18. laurenk418 - They were really nice (and my friend and I had a bit of a thing for the guy, hehe)! I made a reservation for my boy beforehand so I had to just pick him up, but they remembered exactly who I was from my e-mails. I waited with the outfit until almost at the end, hoping to get him some other things there, but when I couldn't find any I decided to go for it after all. So happy I did, because it's absolutely perfect for him. Turns out he's a 19th century nobleman, so it's actually in character too!
Mirabilis - Congratulations on your Kliff, looking forward to when you have time to post pics! I agree with the review-ish points by the way. Definitely not as sad irl as in the company pics. I was a bit afraid of that, but he just has a nice seriousness to him that I think is very hard to find in MSD boys. He wears a wig made for Luts Model Delf and their heads are teensie, so his is definitely on the small side too. The floppiness is for safe shipping and once you've tightened it, he posed like a dream. I don't have a box for mine, at Ldoll they sold their dolls in nice doll carriers. I use mine every time one of my MSDs travels with me :)

19. Mirabilis I can't wait tl see pictures of yours. You know I've been waiting for them for a while (・ิω・ิ)

And you're right, they do come in floppy and are able to stand quite well regardless. The good thing is that when you restring them (with a bit of effort) they're able to stand in one foot!

Sorry for the blurry pictures! My phone's camera.... [emoji28]
