Weapons are really hard to find, since the only option of attaining them is after purchasing the fullset. And even the outfits arent always available

@allookjipsa Yeah, unfortunately. It's not just Loongsoul but most companies. I can understand wanting those as special extras, but I wish they'd let me pick another doll for those items if the one they release it with doesn't work out for me. ^^°

@karlyl Thank you I guess we should be getting our new dolls around the same time?
Guessing 6 months waiting time with christmas, chinese new year and the usual waiting time. Also face-up time.

 

@Snowy Most likely we will! I think fullsets take at least 6 months -- still waiting on my Ji Shui Bao fullset from June, so we're at that 6 month mark now -- hoping he shows up before Chinese New Year, but we'll see. I'm expecting Bunny boy right before the summer. Hopefully I'll be finished with all my other customizations by then haha.

 

Man this Covid wave really hit the company hard. Expect longer delays for orders...

 

Yes, so bad in China! I bought some items on eBay from China in early December. The seller told me that 90% of the letter carriers had covid so the internal mail was at a standstill. She couldn’t receive one item in my order. Think supply chain and work at factories/businesses. This morning I got a shipping number. Things are improving. More people will be back to work soon.

 

Yeah, I hope they could make their head larger, so I could change its body!

 

I have some LS shipping woes too. I got my Big Poi in Dec which I ordered in late May direct from LS, it just showed up, no tracking, no email and actually still says unshipped in the system. But I am still waiting on jointed hands that I ordered at the end of March ordered direct too. In Sept they said it would be done in Oct but its Jan and no word or sign of them.

This is the last time I will order direct from them though, the full doll I ordered took 6 months through Alice. Not sure why jointed hands would take 9+ months direct. They don't even send updates.

Edit -- 1/6 -- They responded back to me saying that the hands shipped with the Big Poi pet. But both orders still say unshipped in the system and I only received Big Poi. At this point I am going to see if they will resend them. If its saying unshipped in the system, I never got a shipping email or notification they would ship together, its not looking like it actually shipped. They didn't even give me a tracking number until I asked if it had been shipped but they gave me Big Poi tracking number. I don't know if there is much for me to do if they don't ship them because its way past paypal dispute time.

 

I work for a company that has an office in Mainland China, and 80% of the staff came down with the virus (at least back when I inquired late December). It's not a big leap to imagine how couriers are affected. Hopefully everyone receives their dolls safe and sound, though!

I haven't posted here for a while because I was struggling big time to style my LS ZhuZhao the way I wanted (in a mix of traditional East Asian and more modern fashions). Out of curiosity, I tried him on a SartoriaJ top that was meant for their 73Zeus line, and despite the slightly loose fit, he ended up finally nailing it. He's with his dad (Granado Noah) and uncle (DF-H Takumi Kazama hybrid) in the photo.

I’m wondering if anyone has ever used
ResinSoul 72 jointed hands for an old LS 73 body….or what jointed hands that would fit a LS 73 body? I’m trying to save money and find ones that are lower cost then the LS ones.

 

You could likely use any that resin came relatively close and were around 70cm sized.


Speaking of jointed hands though Loong Soul found mine! They double checked their shipping logs and realized they made an error and didn't send the hands. Thank god that was easy enough lol.

Regarding jointed hands, the ones my LS ZhuZhao is using on my previous post is the DF-H 1/3 Male. Maybe the 70cm ones will have a better fit on the wrist socket, but scale-wise it's not so bad. Probably because ZhuZhao is of the newer LS style, with rather petite heads on their lanky bodies.

 

Just a drive by posting of my Cang Jue in a dino hoodie, who is finnnnally getting some pants mocked up haha.

I really, really can't wait for my Leopard Ji Shui Bao, am sure he won't show up before Chinese New Year alas, so maybe March...

 

What are some good resin matches for Loong Soul normal pink? I have a tall gal I'd like to find a head for.

 

Funny. I was trying to look around for advice on how to put the ankle extenders back on and found your post. I'm assuming your question wasn't answered since it didn't show up in my search parameters. I think I figured out how to put them on correctly and tried them on my 73-3 body. The extenders look much cleaner and uniform on the 73-2 legs and the 73-2 feet feel nestled inside them. On the 73-3 body, however, there is a gap on both sides of the ankle. And the 73-3 feet do not fit cleanly in the extenders. 73-2 feet plus ankle extenders plus 73-3 legs/ body (and long pants or boots) is probably the best option for a taller 73-3 boy.
