ohhh he's beautiful!! The YouZhi sculpt was the first one from LS i saw and I've always thought it was beautiful, but yours looks so soft and delicate!

I'm over here sighing wistfully waiting for my Leopard Ji Shui Bao and my little bunny Fang Ri Tu.

It's not like I don't have three Loongsoul dolls I have to finish, no, no not at all lol. I made a pattern for pants for my Cang Jue finally! and he has the most iridescent pants on right now lol. Not done yet, I think I want go for a skinny pant look on him in a different color. Gotta wait for the weekend to work on him though.

Anybody else working on some project dolls right now?

I'm still working on a set of scrubs for my Black Dragon boy - who got a Granado head in Chocolate resin because the pin-headed thing really got to me (great news, Granado Chocolate resin is an amazing match to the special dark brown resin LS did for that release), I've mostly finished a pair of wool tweed trousers for another big boy, but not enough fabric left for a waistcoat (boo!) so I'm annoyed and slacking on that project, and I really need to make at least 3 more pairs of jeans for the big dudes because pajama pants and joggers aren't quite the all the time look I had in mind for these dudes... I also need to start sorting out faceups for the 3 blank LS dolls I have before I even consider adding another

 

@Girrl Glad to know I'm not alone ohh post pics with your new head on Black Dragon when you get a chance! I'm super curious to see the look. And I totally understand the never enough pants dilemma I'm soooo glad LS has not had any more new releases that I really want, I have such a huge to be finished list lol

 

With 8 of the big dudes and 2 big girls at home already, it takes "special" resin colors to really get my attention at this point, especially since I'm really not a fan of the super tiny heads some of the newer releases have had. If they made Tan and Wheat standard colors again I'd probably have at least 2 more dolls from them already, so I guess my wallet thanks them for that

 

I want to sew many chinese "fantasy" outfits for my crew of big boys, and most of them are LS. Waiting for the weekend to get down to business.

 

I’ve been lucky as well that no other LS doll has convinced me that I need them home. I’m a bit annoyed myself by how pinheaded my Black Dargon is, but I like the head enough not to change it. His lover, my Soom Chrom, has a much bigger head, but it works. I want to mostly focus on proper outfits for my dolls before I go off plans for any other resin (I do want a DV Alter still for a character from my wife to complete a couple).

LS originally drew me in because of their wonderful fantasy sculpts, I’m still sad they all got axed and I was never able to get a LS Chloe with fantasy parts. But at least I have a ShenLuo, which is much more solid than my black dragon surprisingly. I was… kinda disappointed by black dragon when he arrived, because he wouldn’t stand stable without sueding in the ankles. He did fall over when I looked away for a few seconds, and I barely caught him. So that’s when he got sueded!

 

@IzabethS oh wow, do you have the human form of Black Dragon? My Black Dragon stands perfectly but he's also strung sooo super tight. My Cang Jue and White Dragon human also are super tight and stand just fine.

 

I love the Black Dragon head sculpt. . . just not with those super wide shoulders. Now that I know the match with Granado Choc resin is so good I'm super motivated to get him a new body with narrower shoulders.
You have the beast form of Black Dragon, right? Super disappointing about the stability either way, but not an issue I've had with my human version (yet. . . knock on wood)

 

I have the beast form of him. I don’t know what his issue is, but he was never rock solid… maybe because I had to unstrung his legs to get his pants on, but I didn’t take him fully apart or change the elastic. He’s tightly strung and all, but he mostly gets to stay in the setup standing and leaning against the wall.

I’m glad you will be getting him a new better proportioned body! Mine just has a poofy wig to help with the “small-head-itis” issue. He’s definitely an impressive looking doll, but I struggle to trust him because of when I first got him and he almost face planted.

I've been debating and waiting for half of a year just to see if it's just a phase, but I finally bit the bullet and got Water Miao Jun.
After I saw him again after all these months, I still couldn't keep my eyes off of him.
So I decided that I would get him while the LoongSoul sales period lasted.
Before commiting to his sculpt, I was a little sad when I saw that I missed the Wan Yu Xian Zun preorder by a lot, but I comforted myself with the fact that I was broke at that moment anyway.
And when the dealer told me that Water Miao Jun was sold out as well, I was ready to pull my hair out. Luckily, they made a mistake and I was able to get him in the end.
If I knew that this doll hobby was going to be this stressful, I might have thought a few more times before getting into this hobby.
My heart definitely can't take it.
Now I have to patiently wait for him to arrive too...
In the meantime, I'm going to look for more accessories or maybe clothes to add to my collection for when he arrives.
Note to self: find a suitable stand and maybe some anti-stain underwear.

I saw him too! You mean Tao Tie Beast Version, right?
His fullset is so expensive though. Almost $1.6K...
I'm not sure what kind of animal characteristics he has. A dragon or lizard perhaps?
But he apparently also has swappable mouth pieces?! I never knew Loongsoul did that kind of thing?!
Even though he is not my style, I'm still very excited for whoever decides to get him!

 

Ohhhhh, I did not know he’d been posted anywhere yet!! Yes! Hmmmmm, he looks very dragon-esque to me, with the tattoo. Oh, and I adore those mouth parts! Holy woah, I think that’s the first time I’ve seen them do that. I have a couple of their dragon or dragon-like sculpts, so he’d fit in with my crew for sure. I’d have to do a long layaway for that price

Ooh... Can I ask which ones you got? I know that there is his pretty popular Black Dragon doll, but I don't know any others.

Good luck if you decide to get him! His other fullset with less accessories and mouth pieces costs a little less at about $1K and his bare bones version cost about $700.
I'm just gonna wait for box openings or pictures. I'm kinda interested, but he doesn't really resonate with me.
