Loongsoul 1/3 doll discussion Part 5

@Girrl Sorry, I was only referring to dolls as big as him since Black Dragon was released because that is the only timeframe I've paid attention to what they've put out. I've never seen the snake guy but he sounds super intriguing!

@industrious.jenn It's not so much the height as the width of him with the tail and wings and then of course managing the huge feet. Height wise he's about the same as the other 75cm dolls (I think) without his horns. The horns make him taller of course.

I see. He really is incredible tho, I was looking at the detail on his arms and wings. Loongsoul has impressed me so much with the quality of their resin and the details of their sculpts. I want to buy them all now haha.

 

@industrious.jenn Same! I always am debating how I'm not buying more dolls from them, lol. I really liked the Tao Tie beast but didn't get him (I'm determined to be better to my wallet this year). I have to drool over other owners pics Just for general reference, I roughly measured my Black Dragon and he's about 74 cm tall without horns, about 82 cm tall with horns and about 40 cm from his front to the edge of his tail in terms of width/depth and about 50 cm width with his wings in the swept down position. I took a pic of him with the standard body 73 cm for reference photos under the cut (ignore my messy storage room haha).

Whoa! He's huge! When I was originally looking at Loongsoul, it was because I wanted a 70+ cm guy, so I looked at all the larger lines. I had seen Wei Huo Hu quite a few years ago before I even got my first bjd, but I wasn't ready for an SD, so I forgot about him. Then I rediscovered him about four years later and was shocked to find he was still available. I'm really glad, too, because he's 68 cm and I don't think I could handle a larger one at the moment, let alone display one.

Also may I just say, that fullset is exquisite.

 

Does anyone know of any clothing companies/makers that stock items that'd fit the 69cm girl body? the 29cm hips make shopping a little harder. I know Kami Zone specifically has the option of purchasing items in that body size, and Iplehouse and Dollmore look like they have some stuff that might fit too, so I wanted to see if anyone knew of any other options! Idealian's 68cm female body looks like the measurements are a tad big in all areas and I haven't seen many places with clothes made for their girls...

I paid off my 68cm body layaway a month early! I was lucky and sold a doll even though the second hand market is kinda slow lately.

The body is for my HuangLin head that I got second hand

Anyone know the average wait times?
I ordered with Alice's Collections and its been 5 months so far, I'm just trying to get an estimate of how much longer I'll need to wait

The shipping times vary some depending on where you live and if customs decides to check the package. My first boy took about 4 days to get to me in the US from their Singapore address (!!) but my second took about 2 weeks because he got held up in customs. Which is a little odd because they both shipped Fed Ex, but I have no idea if it's random when they check packages or if they upped their procedures or something. Just something to keep in mind.
If you emailed them letting them know you made the final payment, they might respond with an estimate letting you know about when your doll will be ready to ship. I'm pretty sure they did that with my second. My first was all ready to go by the time i finished paying my layaway, but there was about 2.5-3 weeks after my final payment before my second was ready (I did also order a few other things with him though that could've impacted that). They're very prompt about shipping out when they do receive them though

 

That's good to know, my packages from Alice's Collections average take around two weeks to arrive here in the UK

 

I've ordered Loongsouls twice through ACBJD. The first time my order shipped in just under five months, the second time it shipped in exactly three months. Both orders were in 2021, so I don't know if it's changed, but that was my experience.

 

I really wish Loongsoul would rerelease a few, both outfits and dolls. Pharaur NS Fullset, Haotian Fullset in NS, Gongong Fullset, and the God of Sun's clothing and armor elude me no matter how hard I search.
Though a few of their new sculpts are absolutely gorgeous, keeping up is hard with all the releases.

Oh, Loongsoul has a new boy and he's gorgeous and I have half the temptation to get his clothes to fit a character, half the temptation to get the full set and make him become that character

 

Why not both

2 for one character, like he has multiple personalities

 

The funny thing is, I already have 2 dolls for the boyfriend of this character, one an older version and one younger
And they're both Loongsoul (because LS makes such pretty boys!)
Getting a double of him too would be terrible for my wallet but...

hi! I cannot find any info about Loongsoul man's wrist. Talking about 73-75cm guys. I wanted to buy their new jointed hands but there's no info about wrist joint measurements. Please, help ^^
