Loongsoul Doll 1/4 doll discussion

When I order my Veronica from ebay last year. I order her on December 29 and got her on February 17. But back then LoongSoul didn't take that long to make their orders. Jeeryama told me it was going to take from 2-3 months but it look a month and half. She had a face-up too. I really hope you are lucky and get her soon as I did

I haven't ordered from Loongsoul ever before and I ordered... uh... mid-december I think? Jeeryama quoted me 2-4 months (not getting a FU) so I'm guessing 3-5 XD
A friend has ordered stuff from LS from her before and also guessed it would be 3-5 months. But I guess she'll come when she's ready. Given she's tan, I'm expecting her to need her time. And I've been wanting her home more than ever from the day I actually ordered her >3<

@Mrfmg2003: That would be nice if it were to be that way But I don't think I'll be that lucky ^^° Especially not with wanting tan (me and my special wishes XD), but hey, I can always hope, right? And if I expect her later, it's a sweet surprise if she comes home earlier :3 Rather than the other way around ^^°

Hi guys! I tried hunting and I saw minifee white skin is pretty close. I've got an older carl that I might be hybriding. She matches my loongsoul boy body pretty closely but I think they've changed resin since I got him. Does anyone have normaln yellow near minifee normal?

 

Snowy: That's okay, I'm pretty sure LS resin would match LS resin anyway. Haha But it'd be nice to see the comparison, still! I hope you get her soon enough then! C: But like you said, when she's ready. haha.

Hey, I have a 1/4 Loongsoul body with a medium chest but I'm kinda afraid of buying clothes simply marked "MSD" because of her larger breast. I'm pretty new to dolls but I figured if I needed to ask, this would be the place to do it.

the boys aren't at my highness theme, personally. I just tried to jusitfy that this idea is the main theme of the loongsoul boys, as it seems to me.

Venetica: Thats fine from me if you gave the wrong impression, as long you post comparison picture. I don't mind if they're from different companies, I just love toy comparison generally.

Important P.S. I am really sorry it took so much time to responed, I celbarated Hanukkah and afterwards I went back to school, tests, homework and etc so I was quite busy...

 

Arcana has arrived
As expected, Arthur makes a perfect girl -^-^-

I worked to get her some clothes of her own yesterday and today and it's slowly coming along.

Also I'm still waiting for her correct wig (this one suits her well, but I don't think the boy she borrowed his second wig from is willing to let her have it for too long...) and once I have that one, I'll decide on her eyes. Btw, what eye size do you guys usually use?

Arthur's eyes are narrow (as I like them) and the majority of 14mm looks ... way to big on her. I think the current ones are 12 or 13 mm (the tag wasn't on the box anymore ^^°)

 

Arcana is stunningly beautiful. I love her skin color so much and you did a fantastic job in her outfit. Is she going to have green hair??

I use 14mm eyes on my girl but that is because she have big eyes. If I put smaller eyes in her she looks like if she is scare

 

@MrFjmg2003: My original plan was for her to have blue-green hair, but until my wig and other wig-stuff arrive, she's going to keep this one. Also I planned on purple eyes for her, but we'll see. I definitly want one with a more visible pupil for her.

Ah... I'm not sure if I'm allowed to answer the other question because of DoA regulations, but I guess... I did decide on that. The pink is not as ... startling intense as I first thought. It was a trick of light that made it seem even more intense, however he would not fit with my other dolls in that color. I think I'll get him in NS-Y thought, once I worked off the other dollies on my wishlist. He doesn't take a very high priority on my list, because I have no 'place' for him among my dollies at this point. Not a must buy for me, but if it would have worked out, I'd have bought him a body and stuff :3

Originally I planned on having Arcana pretend to be a boy, as among her tribe only males are allowed to be a shaman, however she was choosen upon birth to be the bride of Quezacotel, the god the tribe worthships, so she needs to learn the spiritual arts to be worthy of him. So bascially she has been raisen as a boy, while knowing she's a girl and she must keep on pretending to be a boy and hide her secret until the day Quezacotel descends from the heavens to claim his bride.
Her current clothes are her girl-clothes thought :3 With delicate hands like hers it will be a bit harder to make believable, but I guess with the right clothes... She'll still look like the girly boy Arthur was XD

There is more to the story, but I've got to work out and fine-tune the details as she will be involved with other groups and stories of my dollies.

 

So I decided that for my second doll, I'd like to get NuanNuan I fell in love with her and the best part are her breasts. She is the perfect face sculpt for a succubus character of mine that I wanted to dollify for a while now. I have a few questions for the mini-large busted girl owners!

I'm concerned about the resin. I looked at some pictures but the pink resin... is it really really pink? or is it flesh-pink? Should I opt for normal yellow? My character has a more pink flesh to her instead of yellow so I was concerned with that.
How big is her head and what size wigs should I buy? I know the standard mini size is 7-8 but is that too large? Is she closer to Unoa or Minifee in height and size proportion? What kind of clothes options do I have if I opt for her medium 19cm bust?
Is mintoncard an okay place to pre-order? I like that they have layaway and that I only have to pay for shipping from them to myself without paying overly expensive overseas shipping. I saw the ebay place but I have to pay for overseas shipping and I might incur customs fees. I never ordered from overseas before.

@Devyn Star: In my BO thread of Arcana (Loongsoul tan arthur) you can find pics of the extra head William, which I got in NS-P. It is pinkish. I have not seen a person with that pink Skin in RL. If your cast is more the NS-P type she'll probably fit in. I have so far only purchased tan and ns or ns-y and thus the head sticks out like a sore thumb.

 

I think if she have the medium chest she will be able to fit into msd clothes. I have seen some pictures of 1/4 LoongSoul medium chest girls on flickr and they seem to fit into msd clothes very good. The one that won't fit at all woulb be if you have a large chest girl. I do and is a pain to find clothes for her. Sorry it took to long to answer I was a way for a few days I hope this helps a little

I'm only will be able to help you with one question. The pink skin is very pink. Mt girl have pink skin and it looks very pink compare to my other Normal skin BJDs. When I put them next to her they all look yellow in color. The pink is not like real flesh but is a gorgeous pink tone. I personally love it. About the wig I haven't sound the right size yet. My girl had have 4 wigs and all of them have been 7-8. They are always a little bit big but I think a 6 size wig would be to small for the head

Yes, the FU is by me. It was my second try. Originally I wanted to cover her with tattoos, but now I can't bring myself to do it. I love her tan too much. She'll get some selected ones anway (like a wristband on one of her upper arms), but I'll take my time for careful choosing and researching.
I think there is a bit glue left on her eyelashs as I did those for the first time, but I'm sure next time will be even better -^-^-

I need to hurry and finish her cape and think of some make-shift shoes (probably just putting a foam craft 'bottom' under the band going around her foot) so she'll be ready for her first outing this saturday

She's been no trouble so far. Until my friend got her Nor yesterday. Then she went all demanding 'Birdie. Gimme.' in a commanding way XD
I certainly love how she has attidude

... I might even want another girl ^^° It's just a pity that the M one is already kinda... big ^^°
Oh well, I'll see. Still have other dolls to 'work off'.
But among the two girls I have now and the third one already in planing, I think she'll keep the status of being my top favourite girl -^-^-

 

Today is Veronica first birthday. A year ago in 1/26/12 I got my first BJD by mail. She was the most beautiful doll ever. Now a year later on 1/26/13 I still have her and she still the most beautiful doll ever. I love her so much. I'm spending some quality time with my girl today. OMG...has anyone seen Lion Elsa yet? She's not on the English website yet, only the Chinese. I received an e-mail from MoC yesterday saying my NuanNuan is being shipped to them, but then I see this beautiful girl the next day...

They got the eyes wrong since lions don't have slit eyes, and I think I would have preferred her not to have human ears, but check out her sweet body! I'm really considering getting her with the small chest...
