Does anybody know if mint on card will be getting these new dolls in for sale? I'm thinking about getting wanwan but a layaway option would make my life easier lol
I've never ordered a doll from MOC before but did read in their FAQ that they will order a doll if it's available from the company. You would just need to email them the details and ask them. I was going to go through them and looked into it....but instead went through Alices Collections.
Ok so I caved and ordered a Wanwan today through Alices Collection. Then I saw the new May event, sigh. I almost hope Wanwan doesn't count for the free outfit as well (she is exempt from the free limited makeup) otherwise I will really be kicking myself. Just one day off, typical :P EDIT: Just saw a clearer outline of event details on AC, Wanwan and Aoyue are not available for any of the event. Relieved. Looks like a pretty good time to buy a non-limited doll there though, what with the 5% AC special as well.
To everyone who ordered Wanwan as a full set: Which body and bust size did you order? I'm still unsure which body and bust I should pick, because I'm worried the outfit won't fit...:/
I got the newer body I guess...the 2 torso one with small breast. The character just looks like a more of a child to me and I liked the lines on the small bust body more than the others. I would imagine though that regardless of breast size the fullest outfit would be designed to fit all sizes relatively well.
Dark_Shiva144 On the outfit only page (http://www.loongsouldoll.com/Product_Show.asp?id=476) it only lists sizing for the BodyII with breast sizes small and medium (the only sizes available for that body) but it doesn't mention what would fit on the BodyI though. Comparing bust sizing charts on the two though BodyII S17.5 M18.5 and BodyI S16 M19 L20.5 I'm guessing that BodyI's Small would fit fine at least, Medium might fit and unsure about the large, depends on the material used I guess. Long story short I'd email and check if you were considering getting BodyI :P
Hello, Wanwan's outfit could fit both old and new body and all the chest type, so don't worry about this :p
Hi everyone, I am trying to get some info about the possability of the Bud girl body (3P. Torso). If anyone has it it would be amazingly helpful to get a couple of pics of the most complicated poses it can adopt. Thank you so much ^w^
If you haven't done so already, maybe take a look at this video: http://youtu.be/D_1M180ffBE It helped me a lot, at least
does anyone know if there are loongsoul tiny and large discussion threads? i did a search but only found this one. thanks! and here is a quick pic of my Hikari. she is a hybrid with a ringdoll head.
Hello, here are the links: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php/575478-Loongsoul-1-3-doll-discussion-Part-2 http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php/498079-Loongsoul-Doll-Tiny-discussion-part-1 Hope it helps.
I have a question RE: Loongsoul's resin. It's my understanding that Loongsoul BJDs are casted in French environmental resin by default (but can be casted in solid resin by request). Has this always been the case? I own a Momo from 2012 and am trying to determine whether she is made of French resin or not. I think she is judging by her fingertips (they are a bit translucent) but I can't say for sure. Any help would be appreciated.
@PeppermintPocky: To my knowledge french resin was always default. Unless you asked for it - and paid extra - you should have french resin. Also, finally got around taking some pics of my mermaid lady. They turned out a bit darker than intended, but overall I'm very pleased. Lucy_throne-finny-1 by Wildcard_Snowy, auf Flickr That's one of them. Only shame is, that the transparent fish-ears are barelly visible due the dark hair, desite the blushing.
@Snowy Thank you. Kinda bummed to learn that, as I bought my Momo before there was an option for different resins. She's a beautiful girl and I love her dearly but I would've preferred knowing she was French resin before I ordered her (especially since solid urethane is $20 cheaper). Back then the fact the company default was French resin wasn't publicized information. Also, I love your mermaid! All the Loongsoul mermaids are gorgeous. They look like wonderful posers, too, compared to some of the mermaids offered by other companies.
PeppermintPocky: It's cheaper now? That's interesting. I remember when you had to pay additional money for anything other than french. Thanks, she's not quite finished yet, but I was in the mood to take pics and a friend complained that I had her for nearly a half year now and not taken any pics yet ;P And yes, Loongsoul once again points greatly in terms of posabilty. I generally love their body joints, but with this mermaid they definitly topped any other currently on the market in this size. Only ones I could imagine having similar posability are the Asleep Eidolon ones.
Yep, $20 cheaper now. And I love the Asleep Eidolon mermaids --- wish they'd release some in mini size (I'm a bit of a mini maniac, hehe). Their SD-sized mermaids are very beautiful but I've tried the size before and it's just too big for my taste.
Really, you had to pay extra for French resin?Oo Seems like it's the other way around now, though. On all the sites where you can order Loongsoul dolls, you have to pay $20 extra for "imported resin", which apparently means French resin. Kind of confusing, but I think it's nice they're giving people the option to choose the resin they want^^
