Does anyone have either WanWan, or the new body that comes with her? Her high heeled feet are 5.1cm, and I am wondering which shoes people are using for her. I've got my eyes on some that are made for Tonner dolls, but I'm not sure if her foot will be too wide for them.
Question for you all: I just got my mini girl body for a hybrid from loongsoul, and it's gorgeous! One concern though: it's strung incredibly tight, to the point that I don't know if I can pull the neck ring into the head I have. Do people usually restring bodies or just get very strong people to help them? Thanks!
Belated congrats on your girl! She is absolutely beautiful! I think most shoes for Tonner (particularly Ellowyne Wilde) would be too narrow for Loongsoul heeled feet. Heels made for their 22" American Model may work---I know some of them fit MNF heeled feet. I plan to buy a pair of heels made for Cissy to see if they work on my Loongsoul Momo. If they fit well, I'll be sure to post photos here. When I'm dealing with tight dolls, I use a hemostat to help me with restringing. Helps a ton!
I decided that the loongsoul pink skin just wasn't pink enough for my Eloise (also @Redrosette, I've got a hook to pull heads and use for restring and generally grip the doll between my legs to give me a bit of leverage to get heads on)
I love your Eloise @Hyperion ! What color dye is that? I'm having kinda the opposite reaction with my Wanwan, the normal pink is a bit too pink. I only got that color because she was in stock and I didnt want another 9 month wait lol.
I'm pretty sure it was just the Super Pink colour of Rit Dyemore. Normally I mix colours, but since I wanted true pink for her, I probably stuck with it. There may have been a little blue in there just to try and give her a slightly purple undertone though. Also, I totally know that feeling, I bought my Eloise in the pink because she was in stock, I would have much rathered the non-environmental white, but I also didn't want to deal with the wait time. Your WanWan looks absolutely gorgeous though, wow!
It's great to see owner pictures of Wanwan. I want her body for one of my DIM heads, but it was hard to persuade myself that I didn't need her head too. I've never been so tempted by a fullset before!
