Loongsoul Doll Tiny discussion part 1

ah cool...I was thinking of getting one to add to my growing centaur collection..wasn't sure when they first came out...hmm I'm sure a comparison next to a ken doll would be cool..I'm guessing since they fit Ken clothes that means they are a little on the slim side?

 

@ Kitty Blue bear in mind those are the older Ken outfits... the newer ones don't work. That ken body is slimmer yet. And the cloths are very loose. The LS have big bums lol that's what takes the room lol. In fact the pants don't all close. The odd pair will if the fabric has give. The tops are quite over-sized... but you can work camera shots to not show if it billows but nothing is fitted. The closest is Enyu in the 'princly' stuff and he had his default outfit under it to take up room ;p. Best fit for ken doll fashions are pre 2000, elastic waisted and fabric with a bit of stretch/give. I have to use the Ken stuff to give room for the 'animal' legs/feet/hands... but that also makes the rest of the areas a bit on the baggy side ... at least it hides well ;p

@ Yurusumaji ty I am waiting to break out the Tux for a special occasion lol... I also want to find a spare and see if I can 'tailor' it to fit better. I won't "cut" any of Ken stuff as most of it still will have VG status for sale as vintage if I ever decide to ;p But I would chop up an Ebay find lol. I also keep thinking Kit Kat needs a little stuffed 'Roo' or maybe 'Piglet' lol...

 

Lady Tiku - That would be so cute! She used to have a little stuffed kitty, but I don't know what happened to it. Now she has a flocked Hello Kitty toy. ^_^

yay...can't wait to see photos..I beginging to have an obsession with centaurs..lol

 

Alrighty! Here he is right after I put him all together! His torso came in two pieces and I had to take the shook/ring keeping his front torso together and string it through a hole in his butt and keep it in place with a tail! I was very confused at first, but it wasn't too hard to figure out! He came with both deer tails and the horse tail, as well as the unicorn horn and TWO pairs of deer antlers! I'll post more pics as I dig my supplies from my luggage. I just moved out of my dorm, haha.
He is a great little poser, and his legs have little ledges on the upper inside parts so you can ever so slightly splay them a bit. I got him to stand on three legs, but nothing in the way of rearing (at least not yet). He's gonna be wigless for a little while because I just ordered his wig from Luts, but it's going to be carrot color with a long braid in the back and kind of shaggy bangs all-around! His name is Bright

1-*snortchoke* lmao the butt hole comment *dies laffing* OH the indignity of these poor creatures! *snerks*
2-you didn't realize he came with ALL the options O_o ... ^^ must have been a happy surprise to get so many dolls in one (so to speak ;p)
3-I have no doubt you will get him to be a pose-master in no time ^^ ... The second one if he had been looking down at the spot between his feet reminded me of a dog's down and ready to shoot off to chase something lol cute.
4-Tell me about it (lighting) My home is the same and everything has a slightly 'yellow' tinge ... But I think I've got Dad to be receptive to finally exchanging a bunch of (dark) stained glass looking lamp shades for clear/etched ones!... only took me close to 10 years after buying them >< lol.

And best of all, he's cute even without any blushing O_O ^^ can't wait to see the finished version! And always remember... 'crappy pictures are better than NO pictures!' ^^.

 

Congrats Kotone on your new cutie! Super glad to see these guys are making it home!

Also can't wait to see your new guy when he's all done.

 

Thanks everyone! Here's some more posing! His back legs can go back a bit like the first picture below, but his hind area is strung a little tightly so only one wants to stay much at all. He'll get better as his strings wear a bit, but I might have to suede.

Haha Bright looks like a giant baby compared to Alma's skinny little body!

 

Aaaand it took long enough for the weather to clear up, but Bright has a face now! Wig should be coming soonish from Luts.

I am! His little face just gave me a bit of trouble today (had to learn very quickly how to paint eyebrows because watercolor pencil looked way too grainy on such a small guy) so I ran out of time/patience. But yes, his body will get blushed poooossibly in the next two or three days if it ever stops raining nvn;;

 

I can hardly wait! ... but do take your time to get it just right ;p

 

I do not know why but Enyu always ends up in his lap O_o lol



But it looks like someone else might be on his tail ;p
