  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     5. Absolutely. First it was an AoD Qian, who became my Renny and then the RS Dan (in grey skin, it's gorgeous) who became my Melody. Love at second sight happened with a Sweet Doll Alice who I want to buy really really badly and make into a ballerina (already have the feet, shoes, and tutu dress). Then there was Love-Gained-Over-A-Long-Time that was my Einin. I got her as a gift and just didn't bond with her and didn't bond with her. In fact, I put her up for sale. It was looking at her 'for sale' pics that actually made me fall in love with her! So I took the thread down and now love her very much!

    7. Not that much, Actually, loving a doll sculpt is usually a bit long for me. They still are a few exeptions : I fell in love with Dollzone Minas at first sight, and was fascinated also by Dollzone Bertha. I just know, when I see them, that those dolls will become characters and that I have to own them^^

    8. I didn't think I would as I was taking forever deciding which doll will be my first. For the months I was undecided then I saw mystic kid Qifeng...I think my bf is jealous now. I haven't ordered him yet but already have a wig and clothes on the way...that pout...oh I'm so in love lol

    12. Right now, I'm waiting for my first BJD to arrive... and I've already decided on the next two! I've been enjoying continuing browsing and discovered Minifee Ante last week and Dreamingdoll Lia just tonight. My heart skipped a beat when i first saw Lia smiling back at me! They'd make great sisters. So they're my next two... it good to have goals, don't you think? lol.

    14. i was really set on an angel battle skeleton kid for a long time but never had the money for one... i stopped looking for a long time and two days ago i had money.... and happened to look at angel battle's site, saw cream for the first time....... and then impulse bought it on the spot. so i guess that's love at first sight?

    15. I saw Doll Chateau Hubery on display at MoC and I couldn't believe how hard I feel.
      He's just so beautiful!! :D Definitely love at first sight.
      I want him so bad, but I have to wait till I pay off a different layaway order.

    16. I fell in love with my Dream of Doll Delphine, it was love at first sight and despite people commenting on her face being too childish for her tall body build, I still liked her so much and had to get her. I just really loved her look, very charming to me~ <3

    17. I think I've had too many experiences with falling in love with the doll but not the price tag. Sadly I always have eyes for the most expensive sculpts, but that's not to say that there aren't any cheaper ones that are just as beautiful!! Usually I'd fall in love with some owner pictures before actually searching for the actual sculpt. But I never really get them in the end, I just admire the ones that others own?

    19. Well, I always patter around before buying. Generally to save up the money first (I don't have $400 to spend here and there at the drop of a hat xD) and to check owner photos and do research on the body and the company.

      But yes, with every doll who makes it onto my 'to buy' list, it has been love at first sight. My heart skips a beat and then races, and I feel this irresistible pull to them. I can't get them out of my head until they're mine. I don't always realise I love them. Sometimes it's just that I cannot stop looking at them and keep coming back to their page. The realisation of the love comes later :lol:It's a very different feeling to when you're just browsing and think 'that one's cute...yeah, that one's cute too...' The ones I choose to buy just have that special something and it is usually instant, the very second I lay eyes on them :)

    20. Nowadays, all of the dolls I buy are ones I ponder over before committing to.

      However, when I first got into the hobby, I fell in love with a Cherishdoll Faith Alley fullset. I just thought she was the prettiest doll and I had to have her. She still sits on my shelf wearing the outfit she came with. c:
