1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Lumedoll by Dollist!

Jan 9, 2008

    1.
    2. I have a Tania on layaway!!!! If anyone has extra pictures to spam to help me through the wait, I'd really appreciate being able to see them!!!!

    3. You'd have to go to our pic request thread for that. They pruned this one ;_;

    4. oh my gosh, i've been looking for this for such a long time.
i found Dollist on dA nearly a year ago, and have been madly in love with the sculpts ever since. so lifelike, so full of expressions! i'll definitely have to see the sites, because i'm totally sold.
they even have a UV stablizer in the resin? i'm curious to see the resin in person, simply to see how smooth it is.
KEID HAS REMOVABLE TEETH? aaaaaah. <3

    5. Only the original Keid :) Keid Ara, the one for sale now, is a revised version with built-in teeth.

      But what size?

      Thank you!

Another edit: Cancan J-series size 8-9 do seem to fit nicely, if that helps anyone else, but I'm looking for a little more variety ^^

    6. 7-8 or 8-9 depends on style.

    7. Thank you very much - I'll check them out! :)

    8. So I was measuring up my Super Gem to make some pants the other day, and noticed that his measuremtents from the waist down are almost the same as Lumedoll, with lumedoll being sliiightly thinner in the waist and hips. Their leg length is the same. Has anyone tried SG pants on them? Once I get these pants made up I'll try them and see how they fit.

I finally got a faceup on my Dreaming Keid Ara too (he's been a head in a box for over a year! D:). I'll have to take some pictures and share them. :)

    9. I agree with everyone else about the look of these dolls. When I first started collection BJD these dolls caught my eye. After a few years collecting I still haven't purchased a LUMEDoll. I will, before the year ends, have an order in for one of these beautiful dolls, maybe more to follow next year.

    10. Anyone had MSD size from Lume doll in here??
I really interested with their new doll Rischa, but I'm bit confuse with his size @_@ what kind of clothes he could be able to wear, etc

    11. I would check the MSD forums, BabyJJ. The other MSD size they have made previously, like the Koit, are much smaller than the new MSDs they have just released. Looking at their measurements, the waist and hips are comparable to MNF B line, DOC boys and Dollmore MSD boys. The chest is a bit wider than the rest, but I'm sure if you went with baggier MSD tops they would fit fine. :)

I forgot to post a picture of my boy Guillaume. Finally got him faceupped and put together:

More pics can be found in the gallery thread.

    12. BabyJJ > The MSD line just launched, it's a little too early to find some owners pics already. But seeing their size and the shape of the body. They will probably wear 40cm fashion dolls as Tonner Matt O'Neil / Russell Williams line quite well. Maybe try also Dollmore's 16" FMD fashion line.

      Kawaii_Mon > Guillaume is absolutely gorgeous! *____*

    13. Kawaii_mon & Algesiras: Aww.. thanks everyone >_<// it really helped me a lot, is good to hear he could wear MSD clothes and Lumedoll MSD size is indeed very close with Fashion Doll M from Dollmore :aheartbea
I'm tired with big boys so I want to try smaller doll >_< and Lume doll also provided so many skin color, I really want to have Rischa in Tan skin :D

Kawaii_mon How about their resin quality? is it difficult to paint them?
Is that Keid Ara sleeping head? 0_0!! he's gorgeous! I love his hair and outfit >_<//

    14. Thank you Algesiras and BabyJJ! :D yes he is the dreaming Keid Ara head.

I didn't paint him so I don't know what his resin is like to paint. Feeling wise though it's beautiful. It feels like bisque dolls to me, and the body moves nicely. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get one of the MSD boys.

    15. FWIW, when I ordered Tyl, Eva told me that Tonner male clothes would be too short in the sleeves and legs, but should otherwise be okay. I'm poised with my Tonner-guy knitting patterns to make adjustments as soon as my Tyl lands . . . ;)

Mon, I haven't tried Super Gem clothes on my Lume guys, but Iplehouse YID size works better than anything else I've found.

    16. Thanks for that Cynthia, I'll check them out. The Super Gem pants I made did fit my lumedoll bodies, and they were already wearing super gem tops I'd made, so if there's another clothing size that fits them.

    17. kawaii_mon, the Super Gem coat I bought from you for my Saiph fits him beautifully. And so beautifully made.

Cynthia in FlintHills, I just looked at your etsy shop -- fabulous knits, really lovely.

    18. I've painted a couple of Lumedolls now-my own Saiph, Solomon, and my Koit, who's since been rehomed. The resin has a lovely, finely grained texture to it, (I always prefer a bit more 'tooth' personally), and is easy to work on :)
I adore her new MSD size boys and I'm thinking they would go well with my Chicline boys as well. Plotplotplot

    19. I just made a seperate thread for the minis. I just love Lumedoll. Each sculpt that comes out just seems so beautiful! Very unique style.

    20. arrowchild : Oh thanks :aheartbea
Nice to hear that ^^ and yes their MSDs is very interesting \\>_<//
