1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Lumedoll by Dollist!

Jan 9, 2008

    1. I like her outfit! Where did you find clothes that fit? I'm always dealing with pants that are too big for my boy.
She's got lots of character already, and looks quite at home outdoors. :)

    2. aernath, Thanks I made the outfit :) I made the pants using this tutorial. VERY easy, just like it says. And if you use old jeans (like I did), you can save most of the work by using the existing bottom cuffs & side seams. If you don't have any yourself, you can get old jeans from a thrift store--and keep an eye out for maternity jeans--they're stretchy, so you can get skinny jeans on and off easily.

    3. A Rischa's transformation can be found on this flikr. The owner did a wonderful job with her.

I visited Eva a while back and she said I could post some of her personal dolls.

    4. I keep checking the website to see if Phaet is available...long shot I know, but I love that face! dharmaniac, Shakti is gorgeous!

Vchan, I've drooled over that same Rischa for a while! You live close enough to visit Eva? Jealous!

    5. MissEmily, thank you! Eva make amazing dolls =) In love with Duhr and Keird also)

    6. Here are a couple more of her dolls I posted in the mature minis thread.

MissEmily: Yup, we're friends. It's nice seeing her make the dolls it all very hard work. I don't think I could do it by myself like she does. XD

    7. Here is my Tania - now as Queen Elizabeth the first.

Outfit and styling is still in progress.

    8. Ooh, lovely xiaoli! Did you syle her wig yourself?

I moved a couple weeks ago and was finally able to unbox my dollies! Here's my Saiph (on a RS 68cm body)

A couple other shots are in a gallery thread (with my other dolls).

    9. Your Saiph is so lovely MissEmily! And I love that outfit Xiaoli :)

I really do need to take some new shots of my Lumedoll boy. Solomon hasn't been getting enough love lately

    10. Ooh, yes yes, arrowchild, I love your Solomon! Would love to see more of him. Thanks for the kindness to Ope--she really needs a new faceup. I threw this one on super fast right before our move and haven't had time to get her a proper-er one yet. Somebody needs a swap gift first though ;)

    11. I've been wanting to see more of this mold too! It's been quite a while, and I do check the website for an update, lol.

I'd love to see a Lumedoll in person, as they look so lovely in photos.

    12. Thanks :) I love Solomon too-I'll probably be taking a few shots fo him this coming week. Saiphs are just so photogenic!
As far as swap gifts are concerned...whatever do you mean ;) lol

    13. Solomon spam :)

    14. Ack! Solomon! I didn't realize he still had his winter face-up! Lovely! And I'm glad to see that eyelashes work well in this sculpt. I've been afraid they might swallow up the eyes....but I'd really like Ope to have some very faint and whispy red-head eyelashes. Hmm. Must start looking around.

Still no new faceup yet...one more swap & a writing deadline to go before I can wipe her.

    15. You're dolls are so pretty OMG!

    16. Thanks so much :) I hadn't originally planned on keeping his winter face-up, but it's become part of his character and now I can't seem to part with it lol.
Eyelashes actually work pretty well with Saiph's eye shape-which suprised me!

    17. Yay, Phaet is finally available! I was hoping for new pictures, so maybe in a few days. Anyone planning on buying this mold?

    18. Phaet Phaet Phaet Phaet!! I ordered mine last night--I've been holding my breath for him ever since Eva put up the first pictures, months ago. I have a spare Lumedoll boy body here, so he'll step right into my little Lumedoll crew as soon as he lands. :love

    19. I've been looking forward to Phaet as well. I'd like to order one as well as a Saiph head some time in the new year, if I can rack up the money :D

    20. I look forward to seeing more of Phaet. He's really cute! I was surprised to see him finally for sale, as he was on the website for so long!
