Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. LUTS 2011 Winter Event

    1. For MyChoice, is it possible to buy more than one doll or to just buy the head?
       
    2. I'd ask Luts about that, but you have to purchase over $1000 to be able to even do the event. They likely go by the name you used to make the original $1000 purchase.
       
    3. This is probably a dumb question, but if you get the event head do you have to pay for the face up or is it
      Free?
       
    4. Faceups are usually extra.
       
    5. Yes, I asked LUTS and you just have to ask for it when your order your doll. Also, I was wondering when it would be best to order during the event period. This will be my first doll, and I've heard of LUTS cutting corners of quality of the dolls during event such as this. Any help? Please and thank you!
       
    6. @hmeyer15 - I ordered during first couple of days of the Winter event last year, and there were absolutely no problems with my doll at all. :)
       
    7. I ordered my first doll during the Luts Winter Event in 2009. I am alarmed to hear a rumour like this about a company I (and friends) have had nothing but good dealings with, and in my case I can say its absolutely untrue!
       
    8. hmeyer15, I ordered my cookie during last year winter event, and I absolutely had no problem with him at all.
       
    9. I ordered right at the end of the event period last year, and though I sold that doll because we weren't bonding, he arrived in perfect condition. :)

      Many doll companies' wait times increase greatly around event periods, and occasionally something will be missing from an order or whatnot (A friend had Leeke forget to send a wig, however they promptly fixed that) but I've never heard of Luts shipping out bad-quality dolls and I'm sure that if something was very obviously wrong with a doll (e.g. something broken) they'd offer to replace it. Luts are very nice to deal with and have been very gracious to some weird requests from myself and friends :sweat
       
    10. Yes, I am not fond of those vague 'I heard bad things' comments with no source cited...I've ordered from Luts multiple times during events. Obviously, for getting 'in-line' it's better to order earlier rather than later for delivery, and certainly not everyone who orders in the event will get their dolls, say, by Christmas Eve or anything, brace yourself now. But Luts is a first-rate company, and they send quality dolls and materials. When a doll I ordered arrived with a chipped leg, I received a replacement with apology gift sent by EMS within a week, Luts was quite lovely (and that was a doll not ordered during an event). No one else has arrived with any issues, and I have several Luts dolls. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them during an event. Sadly for my wallet. :)

    12. Hello I have some questions about this winter event.
      If I qualify for a higher gift do I get all the lowers gifts too? Like lets say I bought up to 300 dollars do I get the free head, hair and shoes or do I only get one gift?

      When deciding what event gifts to give do you total up the final price(Item + shipping)?

      Can I substitute some event gifts for other Items?

      Will I still qualify for the event if I order my doll on December 24th?

    13. Based on past events, it is possible to get lower gifts instead of upper, but you only get one item. That's the only way you can substitute. And the price levels are without shipping (in general companies don't include shipping in their event price levels).

      And the event does say up to Dec. 30. It runs from 15th of Nov to 30th of Dec.

       
    14. One more question about the event:

      I noticed that the Limited Mia's outfit did not include her shoulder armour. Will it become available for sale as something by itself, or if not, how is this item attainable? (Forgive me if it's a dumb question, but I didn't see the information on the website itself!)
