Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. o.o a female elf head. Yep keeping her for sure! Yay I'm sure I got her in my order I placed yesterday (all paid for and ready to go) now I got Miyu, her wig and a possible switcher head to! ::crosses fingers::

    2. Well, apparently when the head initially went up on the LUTS site, it had a price of $200 but wasn't actually available to buy. The price has since been changed to $0.

      I guess it would be up to each individual as to how much they chose to ask, bearing in mind it's going to be very limited.

      Personally, I don't know if I'll sell mine or not; I hadn't actually planned on two major doll purchases this close to Christmas, but on the other hand once she arrives she'll obviously need a body (but until she arrives I won't know what colour - argh! :-?); which is $400 on a doll I hadn't anticipated in the first place! Marius I'd planned for; this little lady I hadn't!

      Anyway, I've ordered a set of violet glass eyes for her, and I'll do her faceup when she arrives and see how I feel about her then. I don't like the idea of selling off a "Christmas present" - but whilst I was prepared to spend $600 for Marius, I did not budget to spend $1000 on dolls right before Christmas and just after being laid off. So we shall see.

      (Maybe I should ask my boyfriend to buy me a mature girl body for me for my Christmas present! :lol:)

    3. I am not so sure about the price.. My reasoning is this: I saw the price of $200, but later the price was taken down, and the quantity of 200 was put in. Which makes me wonder if they posted it wrong in the first place.

    5. I really love this mold!! And I would buy it if it´s a razonable price, since I can´t pay now the $470 but I could buy a head at luts prices.
      I will find quite silly if people buy it for an amount of $300 or so if you can have it as a present for a little more.:roll

    10. Hmm~~ so I know my Chiwoo and other things are already on their way, but I don't think the Xmas head will be mailed for a while. I'm debating on whether or not I should email Sean and ask if I can get some faceup on her.. do you think it's worth it or should I maybe experiment with faceup myself? ;3

    13. i don't think she is as limited as the full limited elves. I mean if everyone who has already ordered a breakaway or tanned el, or standard dolls since dec 1st, and up to 25th, well that has already got to be into triple figures and it's not near halfway through the offer period either. more of her around will mean peopel aren't going to pay as high.

    16. I was planning on buying a kid delf this month, and another in January. Now I don't know what to do! Should I just buy both this month, and get the free head? I don't collect the larger dolls anymore, but it's a free head! Gaaaah! :?

    18. That's just the thing. It's a free head, but unless you have a spare body lying around you'll be forking out another $400 to have a complete doll.

      That said, $400 for a limited doll sounds like the bargain of the century - but only if you can actually afford it! It disturbs me that some people are seriously considering putting themselves (further) into debt right before Christmas just to get this head.

    20. This sounds really dorky but I've been doing side by side comparisons of their faces in Photoshop. :oops: Miyu's eyes are shaped a little differently. The Xmas elf's eyes are a bit flatter along the bottom while Miyu's are more curved. Her chin seems to be a little different too, but I don't know if that has to do with angles and faceup...

      I don't suppose anyone has received Miyu yet and would be willing to post owner pics? o___o
