Luts Delf Discussion - thread 2

I feel you @Peppermint Hippo, they also removed the body-blushing option for now which I usually love to get for my Luts dolls. Guess it's about patience now.

 

Oh wow, they must be really backed up to remove those options. I hope they bring it back quickly for both of you. :<

 

Thanks @Haruhi I suppose on one hand I should be happy for them, because it means the company is doing well, but I'm not a very patient person by virtue, so it will be hard @ShaySugar XD. It doesn't help that while I'm saving up for two dolls that both of them are Luts, so I can't even buy the other while I wait for them to bring the option back :/ I want a white skinned Ju Hee with a custom face up, and a brown skinned Isabella with a custom face up.... **grumpy cat face**

 

@Peppermint Hippo I find that unavailability actually helps with patience in a "well, nothing I can do!" way. Then again I've been called a saint, so//

 

Yeah, I am proving to be far less saintly. I keep checking every day to see if it's up yet, drumming my fingers XD My friend is waiting to order her first doll, from them and in general, so I at least am commiserating with her. On a random note I just realized that Delf Arwen looks like Natalie Dormer to me, and now I can't unsee it.

Update: I emailed Luts about when they thought they would be making their custom face up and body blushing available again and they said they were hoping for March or April. So theres that.

 

hey guys. i am thinking about getting delf nina (NS) and all of your pictures are making me more convinced of my choice. i have a question. In the picture has has heel shoes on but the delf body type 3 has regular feet. What kind of feet does the Nina in the picture have on? I didn't see them selling the heeled feet in option parts for delf oddly enoug

 

Delfs don't have heeled feet at all, but they can fit in the senior delf heels while wearing their flat feet. (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

 

Huh, they can do you know if they can stand well with them or only sit and wear them for the looks?

 

For what it's worth, my Nina is currently wearing MSD shoes (with a small heel) from Dollheart... Granted, they were a bit of a struggle to get on (that said, she is also wearing thickish stockings), but she can stand in them! (Before that she was wearing Senior Delf boots...)

so the heeled feet option parts for senior delf will fit the delf girl body? i would really love to see if anyone can provide some pictures or anecdotal experience of their flat feet delf girls being able to wear senior delf heels

 

I don't think the option heel part fits the delf body at all, unfortunately. The ankle joint on the flat feet just has enough range to fit into shoes with a low heel.

They are actually listed for sale under the Senior Delf section....

(And right now they're being worn by a Delf boy - so they are very versatile!)

 

Ok. Thanks for all the info! This is great. So the dolls stand well even with the flat feet in heels then. that's good to know as I think my girl wil prefer heels over other shoes. I think I am sold on Nina. I only wish she was on one of the US dealer sites so I could get her faster lol

how do you choose between brown or NS? haha i'm still torn even though I know the NS will fit my character better

 

The brown is a very natural color, and doesn't look very tan at all. Closer to olive skin really. Mine is brown, if that helps! I think it looks great and not super pale like ns.

I broke.... I bought Ju Hee and am having her shipped to a face up artist. I'm really excited though, her work looks amazing!

 

I can also vouch for delfs standing successfully in senior delf heels! I've always found my delf girls to be pretty solid standers in general, no matter the shoes. But I've had both old and new delfs in sdelf heels and I think they work just fine. And actually, sometimes you can spot the delf girls wearing sdelf heels in Luts' photos.
