1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Luts Delf Discussion - thread 2

Jul 16, 2014

    1. I'm also not sure about those. I think the incline might be too steep, but I'm not sure if it's actually higher or if it just looks higher because of the sole design.

I got some heels out for my Nina to refresh my memory, and it should be said: the shoes *DO* fit, but you have to do some wiggling to get them on. This black/white pair went on fine, but this style is sadly discontinued. The black and pink shoes are the SWS-07 style and were tight and took some wiggling. The SWS-07 heel is just that little bit higher to take the fit from "perfect" to "pushing it."

But here are some quick pics so people can see what the flat feet look like standing in heels--

    2. While not, in this instance, from Luts, I can 100% vouch for Delfs having no issues with heeled shoes despite their flat feet.

Here, for example, is Octavia (Clary), Gretel (Nina) and -- just for something different, and because he's RSB, my still nameless Aragon all wearing heeled shoes from Dollheart (and standing in them!)

      Now, the shoes themselves...

Gretel - MSD (Again, these are a tight fit, and I'm not sitting here proclaiming that Delfs fit MSD shoes. It's just that, in this case, they do...) Aragon - SD10/13 Girl (Flat Heels). Octavia - SD10/13 Girl (High Heels) (And as you can see. These are quite high - and she has no issues with them at all.

      Hopefully this helps! :)

    3. Hello, These dolls are all lovely! Does anyone have a new fairyland tan the would be willing to show next to luts' Brown, Lt Tan or Tan? I'm not looking for a resin match, I actually am hoping for rather different tones, and I'm not sure which I would like best. I'm afraid if I just pick one the one I ended up choosing would be the one closest to fairyland's shade

    4. I've got a picture of my light tan Arwen next to my tan F60 girl. The colours are actually quite different, Luts tan has more of a yellow tone to it while FL's is more red.
Sorry I can't embed it from my phone for some reason, but here's the link to my Flickr: Christmas Morning

    5. I'm jumping into this thread because I'm so thrilled with my new S65 Breeze Sprite. He needs to go out for a faceup, but I think he's gorgeous even without one!

    6. Pretty gorgeous sculpt, alright :3nodding: breeze has been one of my favorites luts boys for a while. Congrats!
Oh and I think he belongs to the SD65 thread (:

    7. Sure, I just thought he qualified as a New Delf, also.

    8. *prods sleepy thread awake*

Sharing a picture I took a while ago of my lovely Arwen, because I don't think I ever shared it here :O

    9. She looks so lifelike. Beautiful girl.

    10. I recently got a second Delf boy body and tried a thing some people might be interested in--- I put Senior Delf Girl hands on a Delf Boy. The wrist ball fits really nicely! The back of the SDelf girl #3 hands look a little shorter than that of the Delf boy default, but I really like the way the SDelf girls hands #4 look. Some photos from box opening--

delf boy default on the left (doll's right) and a sdelf girl hand on the right (doll's left)
      [IMG] [IMG]

Here you can maybe see what I mean about the size of the backs of the hands:

But overall I'm quite pleased with the result.

    11. Good thinking! And, thank you for sharing this info and photos. The SDF girl hands look really good on the Delf Boy.

    12. Thanks! And no problem, I wanted long nails for my one boy and was hoping SDelf girl hands would be more in proportion than the delf girl hands. I'm glad it worked!

    13. Hello!

For those of you who own old Delfs and the new Delfs -- or have handled old and new Delfs, do the new Delfs have the same heft as the old ones?

      Thanks!

    15. They're basically the same weight and size as the old Type 3 CP Delfs (Lu Wen or Jess, for instance-). They're a fair bit lighter and slightly smaller than the old CP Type 1s or Type 2s.

    16. My dolls came in. I got Arwen x 2. I'm very pleased with them. I could see myself getting two more Arwens. Not the best quality pic, its a cell phone but my hubby took it just after un-boxing and dressing

    19. Just a funny (to me, anyway!) pic of my cat looking as though she's passing 'unimpressed' comment on Sahar, my Luts Nyang (off topic) as she sits with Ethan (Senior Delf Quintus on a Type 4 Delf body) and Will (Aragorn). :kitty1:kitty2
