Luts Delf Discussion - thread 2

I really really like Dan a lot. But I have a lot of reasons why I shouldn't get him!


. He's adorable but he looks like a kid sized Delf.

. If I got a Delf sized boy I'd like him to be a young man or in the end of his teen years so he would fit in with my more mature 70cm boys.

. His face would look way too similar to the other (MSD) face sculpts in my Luts/ DOD family.

If I get him it'll be yet another doll in my Luts/ DOD family with round face and big round eyes. For some reason I always fall for cute dolls with big round eyes. They actualy all have that kinda eyes more or less in my Lut's/ DOD family

. My next doll, after I get my 70cm grail man (SSDF Cane) will be based on my Cane. If he or she do not fit in with my Cane then I probably shouldn't get them! I'm not so sure if Dan would look right next to cane!

But Dan is so incredible cute though


Have anyone had a similar dilemma before? Really liking a doll but you know you probably should not get it!

 

Any one who's been wondering if Luts are going to renew the Delf bodies?

I don't mind the Delf bodies as they are. I'm a double and single jointed bjd owner. But I also do like to be able to pose my dolls better!

From what I know is that Luts own the Delf bodies. But why haven't they renewed the bodies like they have with pretty much all of their other dolls. I'd be excited to see a Delf body renewal

I like the delf bodies, I just wish they had more hand options!

I'm really anxious to order my 2nd Aragorn so I can have my twins! The last event didn't have anything I was interested in and I'm not sure I want to wait until their winter event!

Dan is cute! I like that he looks young. He was a little tempting to me, too.

 

I would love to have more hand options too as well.

I can understand you're anxious to order your second Aragorn. He's a really cute sculpt and Delfs are awesome

Dan is cute but I've gotten over his cuteness now I definitely want a Delf boy one day in the future. I did own a CP Delf boy Lishe once and I really miss having a Delf boy!

 

I keep hoping luts will release new dolls to get excited about but dan and yeon are eh just ok. I'm on the fence about nina and ann still. Anyone have nina's or ann's?

 

I think maybe Dan and Yeon, especially Dan could have been better as KDF sculpts. But I do think they are definitely interesting Delf sculpts. I keep on imagining what type of character I've could have made Dan into.

A part of me could actually have gone for a Dan but in my Luts and DOD family I already have too many cute, big and round eyed, baby faced, round cheeked, face sculpts. Ordering him would be wrong. I want some more variation in the face sculpts I choose.

I really want a Delf boy again in the future. One that is still androgyneous and cute. But Dan is just way to Kid like!

She's my dear Arwen, Alicia. Her character is a demon, who can transform to a cat. But one of our cats really, really doesn't like her, because she usually sits on the telephone table and seater, where the cat loves to sleep... x'D (and it's too small for a fat cat and a doll at the same time)

 

beautiful arwen! I love arwens. I have two myself and I keep thinking about getting more. My cat tries to get mine to pet him. He always looks disappointed that the mini humans won't pet him.

 

I have a Nina! I was just playing with her yesterday but just got the other end picture. If you want another angle just let me know :3 She is RS brown which looks really olive/yellow next to my pink tan other girl.

@Tragedy : I do not own this Nina, but it belongs to my best friend @Kitsuna Ri . You can check her threads for more photos. I painted her, and think with a nice custom she's a beautiful delf mold.

Hi! I just received my lovely Luts Arwen doll, and I'm super glad to see some fans of the doll here c:

I was wondering, as she's my first BJD, what are some good clothing brands for Luts girls? Especially the Mature bodies. (If this isn't the right place to poke at that, please let me know!)

For some reason I often get drawn to cute or babyfaced dolls. I yet have to get a Delf boy. And I keep imagining different styles that would look cool on Dan.

 

Yesterday I visited the Luts website to plan my future Delf boy. I've owned a ws boy Lishe on the type 1 body before. He was a trade. Got a new home though because I couldn't bond with him. I really love the aesthetics of the Delf bodies. love the "Old School" BJD look! So I've been starting to plan my Delf boy.

I fell for a head sculpt I've never really liked much before. Until I googled for owner pictures. I'd love to have a colorful Decora, Oshare Kei Delf boy. And IDO is perfect for a cute J-rock Oshare Kei character One picture in particular that I saw was what made me really fangirl over this face sculpt

That means he'll need a lot of adorable and colorful outfits. I Just took my chances and ordered a SD girl cute open hoodie from Alice's Collection. I have no idea If it'll fit or not

Please don't let it be sold out... That hoodie is almost more important than the doll. It makes his character complete!
