1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Luts Delf Discussion - thread 2

Jul 16, 2014

    1. I was told to come here for Quintus spam, so here I am! :)

    2. Does anyone here happen to have a super senior Delf head that they would be willing to put on a new Delf body? I'm toying with the idea of getting a GRIT head and putting it on the Delf body but I can't seem to find any pictures. I've asked on the Super Senior Delf thread as well, but never got a response. ):

    3. has anyone else seen the two new delf girls adele and emma? I'm adding them to my wishlist. First delfs luts has made in a while that doesn't have a weird squished baby featured face.

    4. Emma reminds me so much of a kid delf Kiwi

    5. I love Luts boys they are so well made. The seam lines are very thin.

    6. OMGosh, Delf multi bodies are here :whee: Welcome to LUTS - Ball Jointed Dolls (BJD) company

Currently just the girl body. But it's taller than the original Delf girl body, and I love that :3nodding: It gives our Delfs some height variations which is awesome if you don't want them all to be the same height!

I really like Adele but I have Delf "My Choice" twin boy plans going on. And a DOI boy who I need to send off for a new face-up and body modification. But I think I really need to get a Delf or SDF head on the new Delf girl body. And a SDF girl. That'll be 3 different Luts SD girl sizes :)

    7. While I like more options, this one is too slender for me person. I like the Delfs because they are a bit thicker than other companies' doll. It is nice to see they are keeping to the smaller bust and not doing bubble boobs like others have gone to.

    8. My favourite Delf body is still the old body. I really love the shape of it! But I also love the idea of a tall slender girl. I keep picturing a SDF Zena head on the new Delf girl body :)

    9. I've been waiting years for Luts to release a new Delf girl body, and I am so disappointed to see the individually strung legs. I was really hoping they wouldn't go that route. It makes me very wary of the stability in the legs, and I've never liked the idea of having the legs attach onto pegs that could possibly wear down over time.

    10. My kid zuzu delf curly is on the multi body. And the peg gets locked in place into the upper thigh piece. The leg will be completely locked in place! It's actually quite stable, and I love it :) I don't know how other people feel, but I have had no problems with the peg system and personally recommend it!

He also stands on a sadle stand, and does not fall over or anything. He stands straight up and stiff as a board! So I would really love to get one of the SDF girls, Zena most likely on the new Delf girl body:3nodding:

    11. I felt taking one more look at the peg system was needed. I only did a quick one yesterday and obviously said some things wrong :sweat I didn't pull enough on the leg so it appeared to me as if the peg and upper thigh piece lock. Sorry about that...

After pulling on the legs some more, I see the peg does actually hold the leg in place by the string. But the upper thigh piece helps some, to stable the legs and hold the parts in place I guess. But I've done all sorts of leg positions with this body and there being a peg system does not affect the doll at all! After all the poses, pulling and bending I've done with this doll, the legs don't fall off, get loose or make the doll wobble. The legs are firmly held in place. So I wouldn't worry about the peg system. My experience with it is very positive :3nodding:

My Cora who have this body will stand like a pro, even without a stand, on his own legs without any problems. It's a great body :)

    12. Since Luts have made a Delf girl multi body, I guess it's safe to assume there'll be a boy multi body as well. I hope it'll be soon because I'm really curious about what it'll look like!

I have a guestion about that weird upper thigh piece on the Delf boys. What function does it have? I don't understand the point in it!

    13. Yeah! That would be cool! I'd love to see what a Delf boy Multi body would be like...

Oh, and that extra thigh "shell" on Delf boys' upper thigh allows for a wider range of motion, with which a Delf boy can actuall do the splits or sit cross legged. :)

    14. Does anyone know if we can buy the new Luts Delf girl body if we only have a head? I am a bit confused? Thanks for any help!

    15. So that's what it is for :) I don't have a Delf boy at home and have always wondered what that was for! The only Delf I have is my 2012 Soony, that I bought in a rush before the old Delfs got discontinued.

I think it's about time soon I get a couple of more Delf friends for my girl. But I'm gonna wait patiently for the Delf boy multi body. My plans is to get twin boys. Or lab clones. Currently I have my eyes on Jun Ha. I fell head over heels in love vith the sculpt after an owner picture I came across :D

I also tend to go for cute big round eyes when I choose a sculpt. So I want to break that habit and get more diversity into my stylized BJD family

    16. For the favorable price sale you mean? Doesn't hurt to try! I don't (yet) have any of the new delfs and wasn't sure if my old CP Delfs like Soony and Lishe would count toward the favorable price but I gave it a shot and they accepted them no problem. Worst that can happen is they say no.

    17. Well, I did ask if I could get the new delf body/doll and sent them a picture with my name etc... of my Delf Juri 07b and they approved me :D So I have her on layaway. I was planning on using the body for one of my old Juri dolls, but if I can't get the color to work out, I'll just use the Isabella head I got with it :)

    18. That's great, @IngieBee! You will have to let us know how it works out. :)
I have a FL head I thought about getting a Light Tan body for someday, but I am not certain. I have a floating body and three floating heads all vying to get it.
