Luts Delf Discussion - thread 2

@Tonboko , Is Luts tan the same as fairyland tan? That would be amazing!

 

Unfortunately they are pretty different. While I haven't seen both together in person, I've seen pictures of the two together and the Luts Light Tan is noticeably more yellow toned than the Fairyland tan that tends to run more pink.

 

Well, I made my first layaway payment on a "Delf Girl Owner limited special sale-(Favorable price)" with Isabella's head She will probably share the body with my OT CP/Luts head, but that's OK I can't wait to see this body!!!

 

I want SO badly the SDF Zena head on the new delf girl body But it might be a long time before I can order her! I have a lot of other things going on right now.

But if the new delf body was available in the my choice option, and I had the money, I'd hit the buy button right away!

 

My Ann on the new delf girl body arrived today! She doesn't have a faceup so I haven't taken real pictures of her but my friend noticed that just from pictures the new delf girl body is much closer to the old custom house ai girl body than the old delf girl body so I undressed one of my custom house girls and stuck her next to my new girl. Totally similar! Poses way better, the boobs are bigger, and a few small other differences but much closer aesthetically than the new delf girl and the old CP delf girl body. Hoping this means they're looking at releasing some of the bigger custom house sculpts soon!

 

Will you take pictures of her and the custom house body? I really really want Zena on the new Delf body

Apologies for the delay on this! Also sorry about the flash! My lightbox doesn't allow a single SD to fit standing, let alone 3 stretched full length. Also sorry that they are all laying down. My Custom House Choa is in serious need of restringing and I didn't trust her to stand with the others for a comparison.

Anyway, in the middle is my Delf Ann on the new body, the darkest girl on the left is my Soony from 2006 on the original Delf girl body, and on the right is my Choa on the Custom House Ai girl body.



I personally feel like the new body is almost a hybrid of the original body and the CH body. It's definitely taller than both and poses better than both but I still think I prefer the original Delf body over the new one or the CH one (I actually rather dislike the CH one). It is overall a really nice body, but be warned that clothing that fit the old body, might not always fit the new one. I can not get any of the pants my old Delf girls wear onto the new body. The legs are thicker. The feet are also bigger and about half of my Delf girl shoes, purchased directly from Luts, are either a nightmare to get on and off, or won't go on at all.

Hehe no problem I haven't been here for a while myself, and completely forgot I asked you for some pictures. Thanks for the pictures! I also really love the old Delf body, but for the Zena character that I want, the new Delf body is perfect! She's gonna be my Soony's taller geeky friend. Sad to hear though that some of the Delf clothes and shoes does not fit properly. But I can always order some custom made clothes from Alice's Collections or something.

 

The winter event is starting and I see there will be a new Delf. It's listed as unlimited and the name is Yuu. Isn't that a boy name? Could be we now get the new Delf boy body. I really hope so

Yuu looks lovely... I am tempted to get him... I want Ann too though...
Not sure I want to take the plunge and get a resin doll again, but it sure is tempting!

 

He sort of reminds me of Haku from "Spirited Away". He is beautiful but I'm gonna have to pass! I have so many other BJDs on my wish list that I must prioritize. And I want to wait and see if Luts one day decide to release a new Delf boy body as well.

I didn't read the notice board so I missed the part saying there'll be a Delf boy renewal event as well. But glad to hear there will be one for the boys as also

 

@malvinas , thanks for posting that comparison. Is that the brand new body they had an event for (if you could show you were a Delf owner?). You got that fast then!!! Too bad the new body doesn't quite have as shapely a bum as the old body

I got the new body with the Isabella head, and I am wondering if I could ask for some Isabella spam?

 

@IngieBee yup it is. The girl in the middle I bought on the new body during the event. She arrived within 3 weeks of ordering her actually but I didn't order her with faceup. I know faceups make it take quite a bit longer. Yeah aesthetically I like the original body quite a bit more. It's just beautifully shaped. The new body poses much better though. She's very sturdy!

 

While the new girl body is a bit tall for my taste, I wonder if we will see a taller boy body soon as well. That I might be able to work with.

 

Well, the bum may be flatter, but I am a fan of a more realistic joint at the pelvis, and it does seem Luts did something very interesting there, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that works

RE: 3 week wait time, that's awesome, except I expected a few months wait.... I just paid off my layaway and can't help but wonder if it is going to get stuck in the Christmas shuffle. I was hoping it wouldn't be sent until late January or February!!

 

I got my shipping notice on Monday, so my Isabella should be here soon, I hope! I'm already noticing longer wait times in customs. I'm getting excited to see my first Delf bodies! One will get an old CP head on it (blushed to match) and the other is Isabella, my first Luts Delf
