Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. The last price change was on 11/30/2004. (Original post on Luts Notice Board No.19)
      It was 8% on most items like doll, head, body, glass eyes......

      Here is the exchange rate chart for Won in recent 2 years.

      Looks like it's pretty low now. :sweat
      Hopefully it'll go up so Luts can lower the price in the future soon.

    3. Why are the girls cheaper than the boys? You'd think sculpting difficulty would be about equivalent.

    4. I think it's beacuse the boys (60.5 cm) are slightly taller than the girls (57 cm). So they are a bit more work/materials.

    5. Luts is only a distributor, they don't make cerberus project dolls either. ^^;; So technically, those are dolls from 'other companies' as well. They warned of the price increase, why would they increase the prices of some of their inventory and not the other stuff? It's normal and un-biased.

      Not to mention it's all about preference as well. Personal opinion here, but I don't like Dollmore's face-ups. I DO like Luts' face ups. Would I pay $80 more to get the doll with a face-up i'm more sure to like? Yes, I would.

    6. That, and also because teh boys are heavier than the girls. I don't know the exact weight, but I know my Shiwoo is heavier than any of the CP girls I've handled. You're paying extra for those shapely thighs on boys... More resin is more cost.

      This also explains why SD13 boys, with the added height and girth, are more expensive than SD13 girls and SDs.
