    1. Oops, I guess I should have clarified and said that a SD13 size can be altered to fit 60cm ranged dolls. I'm not trying to say that a SD13 size should be alter to fit a 70cm one. That would be very tedious indeed. XD But if she does have patterns for a 70cm one then I guess it would be more convienent on her part.

      It's just that, I'd also want to buy clothes for these boys and I'd be at ease knowing that he can wear some SD13 sizes instead of Hound sizes. Hound sizes, I heard, are harder to find clothes for.

      Ah, that was off topic! XD going back, does Bliss also have the masculine body as Abadon as well???

      Maybe you'll be safe if you save $700? XD

    2. Only 62.5 cm, hmm? Wow, I was really expecting something taller! But, I think it is a good height too (and won't be so hard to dress!), and it would be awesome if the body could take regular boy Delf heads. :)

      Abadon totally looks like Heath though -- which isn't bad 'cause Heath is hot! ;) But I'd only want such a mature loking sculpt like that if he was 65cm+.

      Bliss looks like he has potential, even though the wig and face-up are nothing near what I'd like to see on him. >.< *wants more pics of his face*

      ETA: as for why some people seem disappointed about his height -- I don't think everyone was hoping for 70cm, since that is really tall to be in scale with Delfs, SD13's, etc. I think a lot of people were just looking for a doll to be a character that is somewhat taller than their other 1/3 scale dolls, but not necessarily NBA player tall like Hound would be. ;) And 62.5 cm is just a LITTLE bit taller than long leg SD13 boys and CP boys. ^^

    3. reading the head girth and comparing, the SDF's heads are about an inch smaller. do u think that would make a huge difference for head swaps? here's the stats for anyone who doesnt want to toggle between the two:

    4. Well, Yder's head measures at about 8.75" by my calculations, so I guess it would depend on what Delf head you'd be using on the body.

      ...so...according to the comparison, the new boys have shorter arms and legs than standard Delf boys? :?
      A picture of the two (DF & SDF) standing together would be so very nice right about now. Or just a clear pic of the new body. -__-; I'd really like to know how they differ in structure and how that may have affected the measurements.

      I'm with those who wanted him to be a bit taller, really--but not 70cm. I was thinking they would be more around 65cm, since that would make a noticeable difference from standard Delf. 62.5 is just too close, IMHO, and the wonkiness of the measurement comparison bears this out. If they were going to design an entirely new, more mature body, they could have added another couple cm to the legs to make him just a bit taller....

    5. I'm so glad they're not 70cm tall! That size is just perfect to fit with the rest of the CP crew, so that they don't look oversized or anything like that.
      Bliss is so cute :fangirl: But I want to see Abadon in a different faceup, I think the one he has doesn't give him justice~ But he looks awfully cool anyhow!

    6. That's so odd that the thighs are shorter - although it does say from "hip to knee" - perhaps the hip girdle extends further down on the sides and that gives the reduced size. The thighs might be the same length.

      The arm measurement is the really surprising one. Maybe they shortened the arm because the hands are bigger? (They look bigger)

      The length of back is the most dramatic measurement change!

    7. Yeah, that's what I'm figuring for the legs and arms, because the hands and feet are definitely bigger.

      The back length I would put down to completely different ways of measuring. The Delf measurement is most likely "base of neck to bottom of torso where it enterers hip portion of body". But the Senior Delf appears to have a chest joint and no hip joint, so I have no clue where the measurements on that one are starting and stopping. @__@

      ...and this is why I want to see them side by side. (Can you tell I'm impatient? XD )

    12. Hmm...they're interesting, but...i was really hoping they'd be taller.
      Ah well. They're still GORGEOUS dolls, but not quite what i was hoping for.

      On the plus side, maybe LUTS will start selling pants for dolls between 60 and 70 cm tall (in addition to Hound-size--see, planning for a DoT boy means looking for pants).

    15. Ooo, I HOPE so! :D Reisner will need pants! Though Luts pants for Delf boys can be a kind of weird fit. The last pair of jeans I bought from them were a perfect fit . . . for SD16 Yukinoujo. :? I'd love some pants that size now though!

      I'm still trying very hard to talk myself out of being interested in him... 'He's too short for Seimei', 'He's too buff for Sjhan', 'There's no sculpt in the world that looks like Yeru, and how can I have Lir without Yeru?'... And then T-Dragon has to go and point out that he looks a heck of a lot like one of the long-time loves of my fiction-reading life.

      Does it say or has it said anywhere if the Seniors will be made out of the old CP resin or the new resin they used for the Kid Delf Cherry boy? That resin is soooo nice.

    20. ~Ah... just thought I'd put another two cents in... Although everyone is saying Abadon looks a lot like Heath, to me, the combination of the head + body (with the prominent ribcage/intercostals and all) looks to me like a combination of SD Boy + Hound, not a copycat of Heath. Especially since they blushed the cheeks to looks so... hollow? gaunt?
