Luts Senior Delf 65 Discussion Part 1

Hello~your boy is really pretty! I ordered Breeze (Luts my choice SDF65 body) at the end of Nov and is still waiting for him. I am glad that he actually looks cuter than I imagined. I now feel regret that I shouldn't have ordered him together with my friend's holy and dark Bory because I may have to wait longer to get my Breeze.

 

Thanks! BREEZE is a very cute sculpt---especially in person! Also, the SDF65 body is amazing! It's gorgeous and poses extremely well! Don't worry. I'm sure your boy will ship out soon! And please share pictures when he arrives! More BREEZE spam would be nice~

 

Hello~I am not sure if I should ask my question here...I am quite new to this hobby so maybe I am just thinking too much...
I saw Luts is now having a New Year Holiday promotion and there is a daily discount on a selected doll. I just wonder if Luts will discontinue those selected dolls after the event because those are...maybe less popular? (so they need a discount for promotion) I am worried by that because my first doll is a SDF65 Cyan and he is the selected one today (28 Jan). Would that be possible that I might not be able repaired or even have a new head because of the discontinuation if I accidentally damage him...? (my heart's broken just by thinking about it)

 

@Moria_ash, do not fear. Luts just does promotions from time to time, but there's no reason to believe it has anything to do with pre-discontinuation. I've followed the company for over a decade, and Luts seldom discontinues anything.

Finally figured out how to upload my picture here...this is my boy Friday (SDF65 Cyan WS). The idea of Luts discontinuing his model have haunted me for a few days but now I know I was just thinking too much I really love his innocent face


I am waiting for my Breeze and thinking of getting a SDF65 body for my Abadon floating head. They will become his companions.

 

He does have an innocense about him that is truly wonderful. What an awesome SD65 collection you'll have...his proposed companions sound like they will go with him so well. And I love the way you've dressed him. That blue scarf is a gorgeous match to his beautiful blue eyes.

 

Thank you so much for your complimentI love that scarf too because that was the only little thing I was able to make by myself...(I am bad at sewing) I made he into one of the characters of my favourite anime and he is actually a ZOMBIE. Breeze and Abadon will play two other characters from the same anime. I even bought a sofa for them already. I hope I will complete my team soon!

 

@Moria_ash : Your Cyan looks so much more beautiful than the Luts pictures... he is the first I've seen that I have really liked!!! I hope you share more of him.

 

I am so glad you liked him! Before I ordered him I spent almost 2 months searching for reviews and pictures but I hardly found any on the internet (only some official pics and a few pics actually taken by owners) But I went for him anyway haha. I am glad I did that. I love him very much!
It is true that Cyan is not that popular compared with his brothers like Dion and Bliss (not to mention the superstar Bory ^_^). I am still new to both BJD hobby and photo taking, but I will try my best to bring out the hidden beauty of him . I will share more once I have to time to do the photo edit.

Thank you very much! So glad that you are interested in his character His character came from a Japanese novel and its anime adaptation called 'The Empire of Corpses'. (I am not sure if it is OK to paste the link of the anime in a BJD forum. I guess I better not to do so...) I love both of the original, the anime and of course the characters very much, so I came up with a crazy idea of 'dollify' some of my favourite characters. I got two more to work on. I already got a floating head and another full doll on the way) I glad that I was able to find all three of the dolls that fit my characters from the same company (Luts)
Here is a picture of my boy taken a few months ago before I sent him to get a faceup re-doing. The old faceup looked sharper and the present faceup looks softer. He was playing the same character with a different outfit and wig.

 

Do some of you have a Carmine, a Range or a Cian at home? I hesitate to take one and decide on the model is hard ^^ '

@Chibi Miyu I don't own one but had the honor to see Carmine in person during a doll event last year and I guarantee he's really a sweetheart!

 

At first I thought - I had a Carmine ..... and then remembered what I had was a DoD Camine. LOL

But I do have a Breeze and he and his lady love looked especially cute together this morning.

 

Anyone here have a Luts Betty? I ordered one this month from Denver Doll Emporium so I will be waiting for awhile for her to come in. I am so excited to get her!
