Luts Senior Delf Discussion Part IV

Definitely will! I love sharing my Luts enthusiasm with you guys I might even post an unboxing video depending on how much energy I have the day she arrives.

 

Has anyone purchased a doll in the Obitsu White/real skin peach before? I want to know how it compares to Volk's normal skin if anyone can tell me. I have a head that the artist says is very near the Volks NS and currently have it on a Luts NS body but the skin tones are quite different. I'm curious if the Obistsu white would be a closer match or not. Thanks for the help!

 

I just got new clothes for my Evie yesterday that I ordered back in March. The outfit with shorts and leggings turned out to fit alright. The shorts look like they were a bit over sized. I'm guessing that's because they're supposed to be worn over the leggings. The leggings are really low rise on her, which is only a problem when she's sitting. But they'll be fine under a skirt or dress. I picked the outfit for versatility anyway. The second outfit I'm a bit disappointed in. Ok, I'll be honest. I'm very disappointed lol. It looks absolutely nothing like the sales listing and there was no warning that the materials were being replaced due to availability. It looks like the wish tiktoks, this is what I ordered vs. what I actually got... so I have that drama going on... but I'm excited to get pics done sometime today to share my girl.

 

Does anyone have the lovely body? I’m planning to order Jean with that body but wondering the posing ability between that body and type 2 body. Also the height difference too

 

Oh this fantasy colored resin event has had me going nuts with my wishlist and I think I'm about feeling 95% sure in buying an SDF Irene in the orange resin. Does anyone have any pictures of Irene? I'd love to see owner pics if possible Also echoing Quinn's question on the lovely body since I'm not sure if the arms were double jointed. For the legs, I'm almost positive the knees are single jointed for the leg switch out function.

 

@Serein I have decided to get her with delf type 5 body. The senior delf bodies are all limited in posing ability unfortunatly. The height will be shorter but with heels it won’t be an issue.

 

I hope one day they are able to modify it somehow as it's aesthetically my favorite out of all the senior delf girl bodies. I will probably end up ordering that one as well

 

I feel the same way about the type 5 body. So definitely share some pictures when you receive her .

 

Just as I was going to place my order, Luts posts the first pictures of the SDF65 Girl body and a new Type 8 body for SDF girls!



Excited to see the extra thigh mobility join in them since none of the bigger girls have them if I'm remembering correctly. Not sure if it's enough to sway me to the type 8 though. I'll have to see more pictures of the shoulders since they seem a bit pointy?

 

Someone over at Luts sure is into super wide shoulders lately.

 

They are. I was excited about the new Muse body, and then the shoulders killed it for me on those as well. A pity since these new ones are really nice aside form that.

 

I had the exact same feeling - I love the idea behind the muse line but the shoulders kill it for me. They’ve been releasing a LOT of wide shouldered bodies ever since the slender SD65.

 

Ahh I was so exited for the SDF65 girl body and but these shoulders are killing it for me . Well I guess that's one way to save money.

 

The wide shoulders don't both me, it's more so the slope (or lack there of) of said shoulders. The neck to shoulder angle on the most recent dolls is a bit to straight when compared to most real humans. There should be more of a gentle slope. It's the one thing I don't like on my new SDF65 slender body.

 

Anyone knows a good agent that I can order Luts doll with long term layaway plan? Since my order is Luts my choice (senior delf head with delf body) I can’t just choose options on the agent website. Bjdivas ignored my msg on facebook and didn’t reply to my email either so they are out of the options now unfortunately.

 

I used to do layaway with Fabric, Friends, & Dolls a few years ago. I'm not sure if they still do but you can send an email to ask. Iris, the owner, was always nice to work with. I think Denver Doll Emporium does layaway as well and you'd have to email them to set up a My Choice order.


I ended up going ahead with my order because the more I looked at the new type 8, I didn't like the stiffness of the shoulder and neck area. This is gonna be my biggest doll I've had so far so I don't think I'm gonna miss the extra thigh mobility while trying to manage this new size

 

I think if it’s over a certain dollar amount DDE will do a longer layaway than 3-4 months. They let me do a 6month layaway with a Fairyland order. Divas offers longer but they’re working with very few staff at the moment (and messaging over multiple platforms will bump your request to the bottom the the queue).

 

@Serein which doll and what body did you order?
@Elomina I waited for few days and didn’t see their reply on fb msg even though they read my question. When they posted Luts event on facebook I had a question regarding their website and they fixed it very fast. DDE doesn’t declare lower value for shipping so I’ll end up paying for lots of tax (that’s why I ordered FL Miwa directly from FL). I’ll wait till middle of July to see if they will get back to me.

Btw I think this is the 2nd time Luts offers fantasy skin event? Just trying to decide if I should wait for the next event if they will repeat the event again in the future. Already spent a lot on other dolls the past few months

 

I ordered an Irene on the type 5 body with additional heel legs in milky orange!

 

Does anyone know what the difference is between Dolce Diez and regular Diez?
