Luts Senior Delf Discussion Part IV

For my order that arrived in September, I wasn't asked to pay any additional shipping.

 

@Serein Okay that's awesome! I know around the time I ordered there was a lot of problems with shipping rates rising in Korea so I didn't know if that was still happening.

 

@Ruinscathedral - Your Chloe is *beautiful*! I just followed your Flickr. I have Chloe on layaway with Denver Doll; I'm so looking forward to her arrival! 2 more payments!

I'm curious if anyone has received their doll who ordered this summer - I ordered Chloe around the end of July. I wonder if she is currently in Denver or still in production.

And as for big noggin, I found that out about a month ago, while browsing Luts' site. I don't think that the 8-9 Summer Event wig will fit her. -_-

Out of curiosity, what is Chloe's head circumference in centimeters? I couldn't find it on Luts' site. I have this semi-desperate hope her head is more 9-ish than 10-ish. I so love that event wig! o_O But I think it will have to wait for another doll.

I did purchase her a couple 9-10 wigs from Luts' site, which are now unfortunately somewhere in the timeless and mysterious dark dungeons of Chicago Customs. >_<

I measured my Chloe's head circumference and it's about 22.5cm, or 8.9 inches - however, it's kind of 'long' in the back, so that adds some extra room needed for the wigs as well. For example, this one from Luts fits, but there's not enough room in the back for me to give her a 'normal' forehead. Right now I'm using this one for mine, and while she still has a large forehead, it's more of an elegant late Medieval/early Renaissance high forehead vibe than a balding 6-head. Definitely post pictures when your Chloe arrives!

 

Hi all

I was recently looking into the Muse body, and was excited to see they do heeled legs for it. However, it appears that the size of the feet on the heeled legs will not fit heeled shoes (the feet are too large). Is this correct?
I see Luts has some heeled shoes that fit, but is there any other place to buy shoes that work too?

 

@BynByn93 They won't fit heeled shoes meant for most female dolls. Any place that sells heeled shoes meant for male dolls should work, like rRabit. Just be mindful of the arch. If the show has a low arch then it might not fit as well.

 

Anyone excited about the Luts winter event? I really wanna get the event head and I think I might be able to squeak by with my next order.

 

My Irene arrived back from the faceup artist almost 2 months ago but I wasn't able to open her up until today. I'm so happy with how she turned out! Pictures under spoiler cause her eyes haven't come in yet so she's just sitting here eyeless lmao

I'm super excited and am really contemplating going for a doll in the rosy brown skintone because it looks so good! The event head is also super tempting but, I just want all the special resin colours!!

@Serein your girl is so lovely! I love how you've styled her and the faceup artist did an amazing job on those stars. I hope her eyes come in soon!

 

@sovayne I'm really hopping to get the event Bory head but also wanna pick up the limited succubus wings and horns while I'm at it. I'll be cutting it close though as the event ends the 26th of January and I won't be able to order until at the earliest the 18th of January.

Quincy's adorable, she's my favorite sculpt released for this event so far! She reminds me a bit of last year's Luna. I wish I had infinite money for all these angels

Hello! I am looking into buying a LUTS doll. Can someone tell me how the stringing and posing is for the following bodies?:
SDF65 Girl Body
SDF GIRL Type 8 GLAM BODY

I am new to resin dolls and haven't had a chance to handle any of the strung bodies yet. Thank you in advance!

 

I'm interested in hybriding a Switch head on a Muse boy body. Has anyone tried it or does anyone have comparison's of Switch Rosy White and Luts White?

 

@myuupi Switch rosy white is darker with a more pink/peach tone to it then Luts white. Luts white is lighter and looks more white in comparison. When I put the Luts head I have in Luts white next to my rosy white Switch heads it makes the Switch heads almost look like a very light normal color.

I have a SDF65 Slender body which is very similar to the Muse body, and I could try my Switch heads on that body if you want. The body however is in Zuzu white and not Luts white so wouldn't be a good resin comparison.

 

Yesterday, I jumped in and bought the new Senior Delf Muse BLISS Blossom ver. Head Limited in Real Skin Normal and Senior Delf Kitty Ears and Tail Set in White!

I have spent way too much on dolls this year, but I just couldn't resist this cutie! I am not very fond of my PHOEBE head, so I will be replacing him with this new boy! Unfortunately, I had to order him in Real Skin Normal instead of Real Skin White to match my PHOEBE's body~ No matter... I'm sure he'll be cute in any color~

 

Oh yes! I'd love to see how the proportions are!

 

Quincey is such a cute sculpt but she's not available on the body type I need for my characters so I'm sticking with my original plan. Niya! She's been one of my favorites for a while. I also plan on picking up a Senior65 boy body for the event head and shelling out extra for a faceup. I really love that event head. Haha

 

That's how I feel about most of the available SDF65 girl sculpts. I adore the sculpts and I really wish I liked the silhouette of the SDF65 or the SDF type 8 bodies.
The facial structures are so so nice though. I love the more mature elegant look.
