Here's our Juri '06. His name's Aiden. He got a face-up... but currently lacks everything else. Hair... eyes... clothes... a body... he's borrowing Santino's right now. Not that Santino has pants to lend him. >.O

I did a second faceup on my Juri boy - but it came out a bit more girly than I would have liked but still works - I think my next faceup I will try a different shape for the brows and go lighter. but here he is (on Novas body)

Ok, so I always thought Juri's head looked retarded on a boy body, yet in your pictures he looks great. Maybe adding clothes and hair will help? I don't know. Your boy looks fabulous panty_girl. He is pretty girly, but then again so's mine so there's no complaints about that here.

sleep_pattern - thanks! and yes, the hair does help alot - I'm going to be doing another faceup this weekend most likely, so I'll be posting again.....I'm going to have to name him - He's been so much fun to have around and he just has so much personality...I just have to buy him a body.

 

I say Astrid but that's just cause I knew a set of sisters once named Nova and Astrid. I'm on the body boat with you. Aiden's borrowing Santino's, and the longer he goes without hair and clothes the more I dislike him on a boy body and contemplate modding a girl. Stupid soom needs to send me his hair and eyes soon. ;_;

OK, anyone that has gotten Juri and has put her on the Luts OLD mature body type - the female one that is, with the joint in the middle of the torso instead of below the waist-line - does it fit? do you need to get the extra neck piece?

I just won a BW Juri head and am looking into buying the Luts body to go with it, but I like the old body type SO much better

As for the Juri not looking right on boy bodies, I've seen pictures of him on both type 1 and type 2 bodies... there is a definite difference in proportion on the type 1 bodies. They head looks really small, and the neck is too long. However, on type 2 bodies, the head looks fine. It's very strange... I wonder what exactly is different about the two bodies. Hmm...

Anyway, my head arrivved in the mail last week... I'm working on getting a job so I can complete him. Can't wait!

 

thanks - and he is on an old type body w/ a neckpeice - as long as he's wearing a wig, I don't think it looks bad at all.

 

I think I read somewhere that the new type bodies are shorter? Maybe thats why Juri looks better on the new ones, since maybe its more in proportion to the smaller head?

 

*paws at Juri head* I'm absolutely positively in love with the Juri head O__o and I'm horrified I knew nothing about it until, like, last week. Male or female, it makes no difference to me...I love them all XP I wonder what the chances are of one going up for sale eh? EH?! *stares at marketplace*

 

There have been quite a few Juri's on sale in the market place since people started to get them. I think I saw some BW ones there the other day, take a look!

Is it just me, or does there seem to be alot more BW ones for sale than NS? Were there more BWs made, do you think?

 

Silly me, I hadn't even checked the marketplace for a few days! Then, just now, BAM! And my bank account started to softly cry in the corner. I agree, there seem to be many more BW, and I'm sorta leaning towards the NS.

I still need a body for her but but that will be next month. I also don't have a name for her yet until I get her body.

I think this is a cool gift from luts, its a cute elf.

 

Oh, she's really pretty! I love her eyebrows. (I tend to like eyebrows a little thicker on dolls, like the way yours is done!)

And orange eyes!

If I ever got a Juri, I'd make her into my character Mao, he has orange eyes too.


And I agree about liking NS dolls more, it seems like most of the Juris people are keeping are NS, and the BWs are being sold.

I was going to use the eyes for my EL but he had some and I'm thinking of getting him a different pair.
Yeah, this NS Juri is not going anywhere, she won my heart with her freckles and ears. They both did, I'm in to deep.

 

I also got mine now. she/he has been moddet a lot, open mouth, lips smaller and a little nose job.
