Maskcat 57cm Dolls - part 2

I thought I was done with the big dolls, but I just can't quit Maskcat's girls The anniversary event with Willow head is so tempting... Can anyone confirm which extra hands and feet are included with the full dolls? Is it all 5 pairs of hands?

Also, I've never used the layaway option before - it says not to use any promo codes on the layaway order. So do I just process the first layaway payment ($200) and Maskcat will take the promo code into account for the remaining balance? What if I'm adding extra parts - can I just mention them in my layaway order to have that added to my balance as well?

 

I might be wrong about this, but I think that they come with two pairs of hands. If you look on the listing for the 57cm body, you can see pictures of the ones it comes with. I don't have mine yet, so I can't say for sure.

 

Their extra usually means a heel feet and a pair of fist hands. If you want more you have to order them. So in the full set you will receive: basic hands + fist hands +flat feet + heel feet. (clik on them to see a photo).

But I don't know anything about their layaways so I can't help here

 

Thank you @Ara.dox and @Caramello_Cat! I didn't even think to look on the 57cm body page! I'll definitely have to add on hand #5 - I have these for my 2.0 Ronia and they are so versatile! (actually they're in my profile icon photo!)

 

Okay, now I'm confused, because I was under the impression that ALL the hands (except for Number 5 hands) and feet came with a full doll when you purchase them. I've seen many box openings and it was always like that. I even asked if the Number 5 hands came with the set (because I was going to add them on if not) and was told by Maskcat that they did not - so I did add them.

Maybe they changed to having fewer extra hands/feet included in the basic order after setting up the new website, but I ordered months before it was set up.

 

I think that the people whose box openings you saw bought the extra hands and feet and maybe didn't think to mention that, because I've been a bit obsessed about Maskcat for over a year now and I'm pretty sure that the full dolls have come with only two pairs of hands and feet for a while now, if not since the beginning. Thank you for confirming my mistake @Ara.dox! This makes me sad, though, because I would have purchased them all together if I had known I researched so much before purchasing and really thought I knew what to order.

Oh well, I did order an extra head that hasn't shipped yet, so maybe I can add these hands/feet to that and save on shipping.

 

I know that there are 5 different hands for the 57cm body. I just asked on the website which ones come with the body. I want to know that too before I make my purchase. I believe that there are only 2 pairs that come with the body and 2 pairs of feet. The feet that come with the body are the flat feet and the regular heel feet. You must purchase the heel+ feet and the ballet pointe feet separately.

 

@StellaMarigold I received two Maskcat girls this year, both before revising the website and they both come per default with hands 01 + 02 and feet 01 + 02. It has always been like this - ONE extra pair of hands and ONE extra pair of feet. I had to add the other parts to my order.
Now I can’t decide if I should order the Willow head only or if I should add the new MSD (I really like her and I already know I will definitely order her one day) and get an extra head?!

 

Thanks. I thought that it was probably hands 1 & 2 but wanted to be sure before I ordered. (I knew it was 2 pair of hands in total but I wasn't sure which ones).

Ok, I ordered my WS Willow today. XD I guess I am lucky that there is no other company for which I am so weak beside Maskcat.

 

Anyone knows if willow is limited or will be available later?

Maskcat responded to my layaway inquiry so I thought I would share in case anyone else was in the same boat:

If you want to do layaway, select and checkout the layaway option. In the order note, you can add the desired skin tone and any extra parts. Maskcat will apply the 10% discount plus you'll get the Willow head.

So I'm curious - if you ordered the Willow full doll, does that mean you get 2 Willow heads...?

I see the 10% discount is now showing on Alice's Collections which means I could potentially do a 6 month layaway. Very tempting but still not sure which doll I would choose

 

Well, I ordered Francis today in NS. I'm very excited. I ordered her extra feet and hands as she will be my ballerina. I also requested that the free Willow head was in tan, but I'm not sure they will do that. I am planning on ordering her (Willow) a body later this year.

 

Does anyone have a 72cm Impldoll or other beefy muscled man? What do you think of the similar head size to Maskcat girls for reasonable realism?
