1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. 1. @cthulhu I just looked at your whole picture through the link. Wow! Your dolls are so beautiful in their period costumes.

      • x 1
    2. @cthulhu Yeah, that's the plan, height-wise. Saw someone using 1:1 centimeter:inch, so they should still be in-scale. But I was less sure about style, especially with Maskcat Ronia's large eyes. Maskcat Astrid's eyes are tiny next to hers. Maybe I shouldn't have seen Ronia in tan. :sweat

Your dolls look good! Thanks for the comparison!

    3. @Valor, eye size on newer sculpts has certainly led to some disappointments for me. Figuring out eye size with the "realistic" sculpts has left me a lot more careful. Good luck getting some comparison photos.
I'm happy with Lisette's eye size with my CP Delf group. And Nerine's eyes are a nice size with the Volks kids here. But since I don't have a Ronia or the guys you're thinking of afraid I can't help more.

    4. Thank you! I love how Nerine fits in with my Tea Time Teens.
      Here is my Lisette who joined my CPDelfs, another historically costumed group. ;}

One of my Juri's is wearing Lisette's original dress as they all played change about while getting dressed in Medieval garb. :)

    5. And, because my other photo of Nerine didn't really show her face, here's an older photo of her beautiful face when she was wearing her full set.

    6. Your Lisette and Nerine are cute, @cthulhu !

Nothing to see with your eyes and size discussion but I've made a new wig for my Maskcat Lisette and I wanted to share her here too:

    7. Your girl is so beautiful! I love her styling, she is so eye-catching and i love the red bits of her hair! she almost reminds me of a sea creature!
I'm waiting on my tan Lisette too, I ordered in early December direct, the next few months will be so painful! but at least I'll have time to gather some clothes and clean/dye some alpaca for her wig, and make some eyes!

    8. @Follow-the-Wind Your Lisette is beautiful! Her body ink and her face-up are very unique. Do you have her story in the Doll profiles? Is she a character from film/ literature or gaming?

    9. @dunceclown Thank you for my Lisette! Courage for the wait for yours. I hope you will show her here, I enjoy seeing Maskcat dolls and especially Lisette.

@Dollquest Thank you! Her profile is here . She isn't from literature nor game, she's an OC. Well, even if my characters have little background. It's more a short description of the way they interact.

    10. @cthulhu Thanks for the photo! She looks nice! Is that a crocheted Cthulhu that she's holding?

@Follow-the-Wind I like your Lisette! Are those hair beads on one braid?

    11. @Valor Yes, it is! I need to buy more of them, I like when braids are decoreted.

    12. hello guys, I´m looking for clothes for the doll i order from Maskcat (willow).
What size should I look for? Will SD 1/3 SID clothes and sd16 sg fit maskcat ?

I´m looking for historical clothes, inspired by medieval and victorian clothes.

    13. I am really happy with the historical style clothes I got from Maskcat along with my girls. Not sure what she has available now though. Volks SD dresses will work. There was a gorgeous Edwardian style white dress announced for preorder in the news section last month. But I talked myself into waiting to sew something similar when I can find time. The listing said SDGR size then later I noticed it said compatible with Maskcat perhaps someone with more info will know as I thought the SDGR body had a narrower waist.
I love the styles you mentioned but can't make other suggestions as I sew most of it for my dolls.

    14. SD-10/SD-13 clothes will fit. I got a wonderful victorian mourning gown from Minidesignayuana in that size and it fit perfectly.

    15. thankyou for your answers cthulhu and lyaam12

Unfortunately I don't know how to sew and I didn't know that masckat also sell clothes, I'll check!

I've seen second hand clothes for SID but according to the measurements on the website these must be too big for the Maskcat body. Is good to know that clothes for SD-10/SD-13 will fit. I like several Promise of the World dresses that fall within the Victorian/Medieval style.

I love Minidesignayuana clothes, maybe in the future I get the chance to buy a dress from her

    16. Hello! My Maskcat doll Yael, named Esther, received her wig this week and I'm so happy to see her personality coming together; I wanted to share!!

    17. She is so lovely @koi_brianne. I really love the style you have chosen for her.

    18. Wow, she's so dreamy, I love her aesthetic, it looks perfect against that snowy window view. I hope you'll have a lot of fun with her! I plan to buy from Maskcat at some point this year, and still can't decide between Yael and Bruna, they're both such wonderful sculpts.

    19. @kimlouiseb Thank you! She's in the early stages of acquiring clothing and I'm working on sewing a few things for her right now, but I'm having a lot of fun figuring out her style.

@silmaryel :blush Thanks. Yes, I was too scared to actually take her outside in the snow but I wanted to use it a backdrop anyway. Window it is! Yael and Bruna are so beautiful, I can understand why you are indecisive. It took me a while before I settled on Yael - and I'm now considering purchasing a Juni head also. I am just trying to decide what body I would want to buy for her, as I'm not sure I would want them both on the Maskcat body.
