On another note, I’m waiting for my last order with them - she was
Ordered on 29/11/22 and I still don’t have her - maybe because she’s in tan skin? I don’t know…‍♀️

 

It usually takes about 4 months, so probably around the end of March.

 

I know but I had other 2 girls before with them and they both came around 2 months - Im thinking this might be because of the tan skin. ✨

 

I ordered a doll last year in late December and it took 4 months to come. She was not tan. I think some have come earlier than that, but I have heard of others taking more time too. I hope yours comes earlier. I ordered a tan doll late December this year too and it would be great if she came earlier than 4 months.

 

The last doll I ordered took about 4-5 months (she was pink skin). Also, I ordered a bust stand and mannequin at the end of December 2022 and they haven't shipped yet (almost 2 months wait so far). 2 months for a full doll seems extremely quick! You were lucky those other times!

Hello all! I recently ordered my first MaskCat doll and my FIRST BJD(!!!), Astrid in normal skin~ The artist also was kind enough to answer my DM on Instagram and agreed to send updates on my doll as she gets produced! I'm very excited!

 

Yes they have contacted me and it was mostly because of the Chinese new year! Apparently they lost 20 days of working days! That explains! Last week she told me she’s planing to send my doll this week! ✨

 

I was never offered to see any progress on any of the dolls I purchase from them - but maybe I prefer the surprise! ‍♀️

 

I got Astrid - she’s ooak !!! Beautiful !

@dbfalcao - Wow, that's a lot of days to lose because of a holiday! Although, to be honest, I'd quite like a 20-day holiday about now, with all the work I'm doing (loots of commissions for me to work on right now) X)

I am sooo excited about her, I haven't seen any other dolls yet that wow me as much as she did! I've ordered her a lovely little outfit for her to wear when she arrives Do you happen to have any pictures of your Astrid? I've been trying to find more pictures of her in different styles!

I was wondering if you got your mannequin from Maskcat? I am asking because I think something isn't right...
So here is what is happening: last week I asked if I was to order one of their dress form (like the one you order) would that be able to be sent straight away with my doll or that was something they still need to produce, she told me that it was already made so she cold send straight away. Then she also told me Sunday my doll was ready to be sent but no signs of tracking or email about posting it. Today I got an email saying that I needed to provide EORI and VAT as this was new demand from fedex. None of this makes sense as im not a business. Its seems that there is a "purposeful" delay. so strange.... what's your take? It could be just delay...but, if the dress form is ready why is taking 2 months to send your???
