1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Maskcat 57cm Dolls - part 2

May 2, 2017

    1. I recently ordered her in normal skin as my very first BJD! :celebrate I was worried I might have some buyers remorse but I haven't had any at all! Very excited for her to arrive, my delivery is around mid-June if I go off the four months processing estimate:)

    2. Astrid is just so, so stunningly pretty! :DIt's actually amazing how so much looks can suit her.

    3. Oh that’s exciting! Maskcat was my first bjd too and I find it difficult to like other dolls because maskcats are super well made! :) normally is less than that you’ll get it earlier ☺️

    4. Yay owner pics :D I’m hoping to get her one day, I do love her moody face and big eyes :blush

    5. @Dunpeald - She looks very chic! Personally, I like the first wig best and the second one next. It's always nice to see your Juni - yours were among the first owner photos I could find (it is harder to find photos of her than some of the others) and it gave me confidence that the sculpt was as beautiful as I thought.

Anyway, congratulations on reaching a new stage in your styling of her!

Meanwhile, my poor Juni is still blank and eyeless (although at least she has clothes and hair!). I'm not sure about how I want her to look, and also, I recently received a bust in Maskcat's "white" color and looove the shade so I may end up ordering Juni again (but I'll keep my NS girl too for now).

    6. Thank you! I wish there was a FB group for Maskcats, but looks like there isn't.
If you sew, Smartdoll patterns fit her reasonable well.
Juni is so versatile, from the company images it is hard to see how big her eyes are. I do tend to turn any doll into a street punk, so she is partly 70s model, partly back street girl. but she can be Edwardian lady, done that. Disco star. Skater girl. you name it.)))

    7. MaskCat thread lurker jumping in here with a pic of my Juni, so far the only MaskCat I own. I'm still working on figuring her out :sweat So far I've found that the camera seems to love her. This is her default face-up and wig --

    8. @beamlette - Your Juni is lovely! I love her clothes - sweaters and Victorian- or Mori-style dresses are my favorite :)

And I agree @Dunpeald - She has a wonderfully versatile face!

    10. @StellaMarigold, @Dinadi, thank you! "Sweet" seems to be her favored look :)

@Dunpeald, I love your Twiggy look for your Juni! Twiggy was my idol when I was 12 years old, back in 1967 (dating myself, lol).

    12. @dbfalcao, thank you! This morning I saw your Juni's profile photo, and can see her face-up is softer, but basically the same. Your girl's eyelid edges aren't as red as mine; sometimes my girl looks like she has allergies! We have bad allergy seasons where I live, so my Juni fits in here, lol!
