I've been making them a Christmas setup. Yes, I do just keep them together in that chair all the time... They're cute, I can't help it.
I got an email from Alice's Collections that they have my Doll Leaves Laura! Only (minor) problem was I ordered her blank, and she came with a face-up. So I could wait for the company to send a blank one or pay half price for the face-up. Of course I paid a little extra to have her home soon. I've got too many blank dolls anyway.

I loved the last doll comparison! I have the MYou 27 cm Gina, and 20 cm Laura. Both dolls are adorable, but it's easy to see how inferior Laura's body is. The torso is too big for the rest of the doll, and the legs are a bit short. I'm now thinking about that 21 cm AE body, only $165 plus $30 shipping. Originally, I justified getting Laura because she was only $209 and I was ordering another doll, so the shipping was practically nothing. Now I want a $200 body, for a $409 doll ... not at all cheap! I've also ordered eyes with smaller irises, though the current 6 mm eyes look ok.
@skyealloway Thank you! I'm pleased with the result and it's not too hard to do. For the taller one, I just cut out the neck peg piece entirely and tied a piece of elastic around the cross-beam that's inside the neck. Then I tied a bead onto the elastic to hold the head on. For the smaller one, I needed to shorten the actual neck more, so I sanded down the neck and then glued in some elastic and put on a bead. I'll update with a picture when I get on my desktop! @Chraurelius Yeah, the Laura body is frustrating. I ordered Cordelia to be her own doll but I felt her head was kind of small compared to my others, so I tried the headswap out of curiosity and... she got body snatched Clover (my Laura's name) is one of my most developed doll characters so she deserves a more poseable body. I like the proportions of the other hybrid better too, since it's a smaller head on the shorter body. And FYI on resin matching, I have both in NS and AE's resin is a bit lighter and pinker though definitely within "blush it and you won't even notice" range imo

I got a shipping notice from Alice's Collections for my Doll Leaves Laura. But it could take from 10 days to 2 months for her to get to me. The tracking says the package has been handed off to shipping.
This is a bit belated, but I took a silly holiday party photo with all of my mature 1/6 dolls in it (except a couple who aren't painted/wigged right now). The only two missing are my Xagadoll Ken, who has no wig or character now that I've made Graves into a Granado boy, and my Compassiondoll Elvis who is waiting for winter to end so I can paint him. I thought it might be fun/of interest as a comparison photo! So I can't remember where I originally posted about shoes for the Myoudoll tinies but I figured I could do it here and in the Myoudoll tinies thread. Someone at some point had mentioned that Tonner shoes fit them. I went looking and was immediately overwhelmed and didn't know how to find the right shoes. I never saw a response but I kept looking... and looking... and I think I figured it out! I found this page that lists foot sizes. Myoudoll's feet are close enough to 1 1/2" I think that they should be able to fit shoes from Tonner Tyler and anybody else with a 1 1/2" foot on that page. I think Socks/tight will help make up any extra room that might be too extra. So I did a search on Etsy for 16" Tonner Tyler shoes and found all sorts of stuff. I'm not sure how well they will do in heel shoes but I think I may try picking up a heel and a flat soon. Sorry if this is old new, but I'm sure it can't hurt to be repeated + I'm too tired to try to look.
No this is great! I don't remember encountering this information before, so thanks for sharing it! Always good to dig up buried info, anyway. (IMHO)

I made everyone's clothes except for Tyche's outfit, Ethan's outfit, and Emrik's shirt. Nothing is newly made, just many pieces I've sewn over the past 7 or 8 years.
Does anyone have both Myou Bettina and Gina? I'd love to see a photo of them side by side, because I'm having a heck of a time differentiating them in their company photos. I have Bettina & I'd love to get Gina and Vieruodis soon, but I've been wondering how different they actually are in person.
