Mature 1/6 Dolls - part 3

Yeah I'm coming to that conclusion. An expensive mistake but also my first time trying to order through taobao. When I get marketplace access I'll roabbly try to sell her off or try to order and mod the Mudoll Alex head, although she still looks rather young for my taste but the neck size is closer. Either way, probably will end up reselling ugh Thanks for the info anyways I appreciate it.

 

The myou neck is a lot thicker, I think the head size looks good but it would definitely need modding to work. It sits way at the top of the neck as it is now

 

I am tempted by White's new 29cm guy but I am like.... am I ready to sew for this size?

 

On the plus side, there's a lot of patterns out there to try! I love him too... He's so beautiful, I'm so tempted myself. Too many dolls!!

 

I was so glad I wasn't tempted, at first, but then I had to go look at their other stuff and now I want their 31cm version of their 75cm body, but I kind of also want that for my DIM MNM Sephiroth head sculpt (the neck is too small though, so it wouldn't work). However, it seems they've either sold out of that 31cm version, or haven't released it? Which is a good thing for my wallet right now, but also because my mind doesn't work well, I'll just forget about it until it's too late. Then I won't have to spend my money on more resin dolls, which I already told myself I am not getting any more of (PVC, ABS, any other hard plastic mature-looking toys 30cm or less, yes please! Lol!). DX

 

Every time I say my wallet is done for the year, I get a new thing I want....

Well, I suppose it's less fabric to throw out every time I mess up on smaller dolls.

 

Does anyone have a White doll? What are their colors like?

 

The only thing I have dug up so far is that their normal skin doesn't match granado 100% and it looks like a very pale pink in this line-up?

This company having a very troublesome to search name makes things difficult.

My family got me several outfits for my Myou Bettina and, while they were all super cute, I was surprised at just how great a couple of them are! I really love having so many options for her with how plentiful Barbie clothes are.

Oh she looks SO CUTE in those two! I love the floral dress in particular.

By the way, does anyone have a Xagadoll Linglan? I've been occasionally looking for owner photos of her for 2(?) years and I've never seen one anywhere.

Also! Do the Soom Mini Gems come up for sale anywhere semi-often? Particularly the fantasy girls, but with their human legs? Or Aren? I see there's an Uyoo up now, but she's not exactly what I'm going for. It seems like I pretty thoroughly missed them in my long hiatus, which is unfortunate.

 

The minigems do come up but not often and they frequently go quickly. you could always post a WTB. I think I remember seeing one fairly recently on a site called.... BJDbros? They belong to a FB sales group that I belong to and they post dolls they have for sale semi-regularly. All dolls are previously loved, generally with CoA's and boxes.

I haven't seen a Linglan either! I actually haven't seen any of the Xaga 32cm girls... I love their faces, but they're too tall for my collection... (They'd be 6'2" at true 1/6 scale after all... Which is pretty... tall for a woman...) Although who knows, I might cave one day. I actually originally wanted Linglan for the girl I ended up shelling as a (second) Sylvia, but the neck size isn't compatible and I needed this character to be short.

And yeah they come up from time to time--I've definitely even seen a few of the girls, never without their human legs. Just not that often, like Iron_Dog said. I don't know that they were ever wildly popular, so that makes sense really. Low supply to pop up.

 

Yeah, they’re definitely rather tall for that scale, so that worries me a bit. I saw a photo of a Myou tiny next to Linglu on Instagram & their heads looked proportional, so that was good to see, even though the photo didn’t show the height difference. I’m flip flopping hard on who to get next, with Xaga Linglan & Maskcat Feline leading at the moment, but the other Xaga dolls, and the Mini Gems… this size is just way too fun.

I got two of my Soom Mini Gem girls by posting WTB here! My two boys I bought directly from Soom. They do pop up here and there but I think a WTB post will get you one quicker than waiting.
