Mature 1/6 Dolls - part 3

Gosh the v2 being closed eye only is a little inconvenient. I had thought some of Dolly Planet's coming soon promo pics for the v2 had open eyes. Also wish White Doll released more close-ups of the faces because I am still mulling over what look I want for the fella and I like pictures to be as big as possible

If I subtract 2 weeks for the lunar new years since they said it wouldn't count towards the 2-3 month estimate, I guess I am about a month and a half into the wait time for the skinny body. So sometime between 2 and 6 weeks for him to go.

Hope it's on the shorter end.

 

I bought one to a month ago. What size wigs dies she wear?

 

@Guinan I moved recently so she's packed away right now, but looking at the measurements on LulaDoll, her head is 8.9cm, which would put her smack in the middle of a 3-4" wig. I don't have a wig for her as of now - I was planning on making her one but life got in the way. I hope that helps!

 

I measured my girl and got the same result. I would look for a 9cm or 3.5 inch wig. I have some 9cm wigs but could not find them today.

 

Has anyone tried to order just the head of Granado Tiny Models? I've emailed and left a message on their Instagram and was told you can order the head separately but in the listing it won't let you continue purchase without choosing a body.

 

You can order tiny heads separately if they are available for sale. They don't all ways have all their tiny sculpts available. For example, right now you can get Lucent, Shadow, and Ninth head sculpts as well as the full doll, but not Galileo, Abel or others. Hope that helps. (:

 

Yeah, the rep told me that but the listing in the shop doesn't allow you to continue without choosing a body. It shows the head and the price but when I click on it, there's an option to go no makeup but not an option to go no body.

 

I see, it only has the "no body" option for Lucent, but not for the other two available tiny head sculpts. I wonder if it's an error, or they don't really want to sell Ninth and Shadow's heads separately? I wonder if they know about it, it it is indeed a mistake.

 

It's probably just a shop error, I've bought a head by itself from them previously. They'll probably respond to your email soon, they've always been pretty responsive for me!

 

LOL their response on email was to say that yeah I can buy head separately but still not working for me. Oh, well!

 

Did you tell them which head you are try to buy?

 

legenddoll also had some of the heads for sale on their own at worse, even outside of granado's preorder periods.

 

If you order the head that is working, then note which one you want instead in the order notes, they should be able to do that for you... Although I would email them again and explain that the shop is not working in as simple a way as you can.

 

Yeah, I told them the Nine and Shadow. I've tried the three available but none with let me continue without selecting body type. Will try again next time they offer them up, I guess. Are there any other dealers that offer mature male tinies? I know Myou Doll does but those are more little kid type.

 

Xaga Doll has a couple of more mature tiny boys but they're not as mature as the Granado boys. It's difficult to find 1/6th size mature guys that aren't limited (or discontinued).

 

Dollyplanet has the 31cm guys available now. The 1.0 version has open eyes.

Do you all have any tips for restringing mature tinies? Much as I adore them, I’m getting tired of how kicky my Myou tinies are and would like to fix that. I have enough trouble trying to pull the elastic through the channels in SDs & MSDs- even using very small wire like paperclips- so I’m really not sure how one does it for even smaller dolls.
