When I started collecting BJDs, I only collected mature tinies and smaller, in scale kids. I got my first, a Soom Mini Gem back in 2013. Two of the companies that made mature tinies (that I have) no longer exist. I'm glad interest has grown from both companies and collectors to have more dolls this size. For a mature tiny line that is still available and a bit less mentioned lately is Asleep Eidolon's sister company, Xagadoll's Red Obsidian line. Here's an older pic of my Xagadoll Ken- Conri Poses
Alright, I was bad... I found a granado galileo on instagram and had to snag him! I've got another tiny on the way before I've even gotten a faceup on my first girl I'm so excited for him though!! I already have eyes for him and have a wig being made! He'll be sent off to my friend as well for a faceup His name will be Gage, the love interest for my Limhwa Sara who I've named Pandora!

Yesss Galileo is hard to resist, I don't know how I've managed...! I think Gage will look great with Pandora, please do share pics when you have them at home @RoseEtoile! ♥ I second that Ken and Cyrus from Xagadoll are underrated sculpts--I'm even selling mine... but not because he's not cute, that's for sure. I really love Xagadoll in general. Even after selling my Ken, I'll still have three of them.

This is incredible!!! She’s so dainty next to them, but doesn’t seem so different aesthetically that they can’t play nice together... I may have to think more on backstories to explain why she is smaller or why he is.. giant.. I think soom boys are about the same as the Adagio, is that right? And Bayou does look stunning from here, but I hope to see more of them thank you for sharing while I’m in dolly waiting limbo, it helps with the anticipation

I think Adagio is slightly bigger than the Soom boys; I have both and can take a comparison later, if you'd like. (I thought I had one on hand but the last big comparison photo I took was right before I got my boy who is on that body... Of course... I really ought to do another.)
Oh you guys are so sweet (and enabling- and I love it!) Oh no, Bayou IS stunning… I wasn’t feeling her promo pictures, but she might have to go on my list now are those the Granado eyes? They look so good.. Oh yes, for science!!! Whenever you have time.. I have a soom boy but it will be a while before I get my grabby hands on a Granado. I’m planning to hit the order button at the end of the week.. On the bright side though, my May arrived today from across the pond! I don’t have a name or look for her yet, but here is really quick pic of her plotting with my Metato. Starting to get the feeling it’s dangerous to let the fae mingle.. I’m holding out to see how they look together when she has a faceup, I didnt really expect them to hang out together but they seem to be vibin’. I
Yes, they are Granado's eyes! I think these are color 03. I didn’t mark all of them when they arrived.
Oh wow, seeing this makes me realize just how much of a difference there is between a 32cm doll and a 29cm doll! I love that there's a ton of height variation in these guys though actually, makes it more realistic!

I do think they look great together! I reach for Des (the Granado boy) a LOT more than I do my Soom boy, honestly. Partially this is because of the characters and because I keep Des on display on my desk, but also the Soom body is... well... It's pretty, but it doesn't pose well at all. The Granado body is a much better poser, so he's easier to play with. Still, they're both beautiful!
