Mature 1/6 Dolls - part 3

so, Morning Star Doll is going to have another release of Amanita on July 17th, or so it was said on instagram

I hope that the quantities won't be as limited this time, and if they are, that I'll be a little luckier than two years ago

No much information available yet except that the doll will be in peach skin this time.

The sculpting is so sweet - I love the detail, especially the dimples in her back.

 

Has anyone mentioned Island Dolls "Hua Island" line here already? They're mature, 32 cm high, 2 male dolls do far.

Edit: no wait, actually only Song Yu is listed as 32cm high, the other one is 48cm @_@

Ah, that's a shame! The painted eyes make him off-topic for DoA, which is a shame because he's otherwise lovely. I hope they make an open-eyed version of him someday... Or an open-eyed head for that body, at least.

 

I would love Song Yu, if the head sculpt were much smaller, although I do see a proportionate sized neck (rare for these dolls, I fear). I prefer smaller heads on my actually mature-looking males (I don't mind my MYou having giant melon head, because he's not really "mature" looking). I don't mind the painted eyes, although I do understand he's off topic and cannot be discussed further. If I had plenty of fun-funds to spare (w/out having to worry about limited, expensive shipping from Japan for my OT hoardage), I would seriously consider him, depending on how the body looks nude... probably shouldn't look for those, leaving temptation to just that. Thanks for sharing, digi!

 

Last comment on Song Yu: peoples heads vary and I like the head in the nude pictures under the bodies listing. I think the wig is too thick.

Hello, all!

So I only relatively recently - as in, the past couple of years - discovered the idea of Mature 1/6 dolls and I fell in love with this scaling. I've managed to add a couple to my collection - a MYOU Gina, a Maskcat Joy, and two Pitusas - and I adore them to pieces.

My question for you all is this: which company would you recommend for a good mature 1/6 male sculpt? I know there is MYOU and Xaga dolls, but I was wondering what else was out there that was still currently available.

 

@werepuppy Granado makes wonderful male bodies. Their heads are smaller in a realistic scale. Xaga and Myou males are also very nice.

 

I have been looking at the Granado dolls! They do look really nice.

I do think - when I eventually have the money to do so (saving is hard) - I might go for a Xaga doll? I think that would fit some of the Ken sized stuff I have in my clothing box for dolls.

 

I have one of the Granado 15Lucent and the details on such a small doll (he's only 15cm) is amazing. You can actually see some veins on his body and there's lines in the palms of his hands. Finding wigs/clothes/shoes is a nightmare but you can't have the whole world, right?
