Mature-looking Mini discussion

    1. Try Narin Dragonfly, Limwha Mono, Lati Blue boys, Fairyland Minifee have buff bodies but some of the faces are childlike. I think the most mature is Seorin. I think Blue Fairy boys can look like teenagers with the right styling and the new Dandy body, especially Louis and Kyle. Also Volks Super Dollfie Cute are more mature but they are limited and you'll have to pay second market prices. I love Arashi and Miko. I've seen some Dollzone dolls look mature, but I don't know much about them.

    4. So I have a MSD Angel of Dream girl who has a very adult looking face. I want to get her a boyfriend around the same size but all the MSD boys I have seen so far look very boyish and young. I have found plenty of MD boys who are gorgeous but no MSD's who resemble them :atremblin

      Does anyone know of a particular brand or doll that has mature looking MSD boys?? I was hoping I could find one with nicely defined features, I think one of the biggest indicators of a mature looking boy is a strong, defined nose.

      Let me know if anyone has any suggestions... Pictures and links would be great too! :thumbup

    5. It's REALLY hard to find mature mini males. :( My best suggestion so far is the Dragonfly Narin with the right face up (not the one shown on the site). You can hopefully find some better examples in the Narare thread.

      I really wish that we mini lovers would get as beautiful MEN as the SD lovers, not just cute boys

    9. I've been looking for a mature-looking little one myself for my Bernard character. Unfortunately nothing looks old enough with the right sarcastic mouth, or if they have the right mouth, they don't look old enough D:

      I'm starting to think I might have to wait for new boys to be brought out before I'll find the right one.

    11. So far I think I like the Latiblue boys best, but still nothing is really "jumping" out at me for the kind of doll I had in mind. Shasta and chopsart's boys are adorable, and they do have more of a masculine look than I could find before, but I want to make sure I get the perfect boy for me. Maybe I should just wait and hope and pray the companies realize we want masculine MSD boys!!! Or maybe I should just cave and get a SD.

      Is there anyone who has paired a SD and a MSD as a couple, or does it just not look right? I am guessing it would look kind of strange?

    12. It looks weird, in my opinion, but some people don't mind it. I'm sure you could find some in the Picture Requests section, if you're really curious. My suggestion would be to hold out for a perfect MSD, though. I'm still searching for the right one for me. XD

    13. I have searched high and low for mature mini boys. :| There aren't many, it seems, and some of my favorites have already been mentioned (like the Lati Blue boys :aheartbea).

      One that hasn't been mentioned yet: I have a Fantasy Doll Victor head at the moment, and he looks older than most minis. He does have quite the prominent brow (which I'm currently modding to my taste) but he might work for you.

    14. I was on this very same quest for most of the year. My Bobobie Sprite needed her soulmate to come home. Then Bobobie's sister company ResinSoul popped up a few months ago with some very nice sculpts. Among them is An, the one I chose for my Sprite. He's not everything I wanted in a mature mini guy, but he's darn close enough for me. I think Andras looks mature enough to fit well with Eirianedd. And look at that lovely large nose!:)

    16. Well, out of the box, he was pretty floppy, but apparently Bobobie (and ResinSoul, by extension) sends dolls out loosely strung to prevent in-transit damage. So, after a good tightening and some sueding, he poses pretty well.

      As far as the body build goes, his body is nicely defined, with some lovely sculpted muscles. I really like how the arms and legs are sculpted. Be sure to check out pics of the nude body (you can see it at the RS site here). I really like that he's taller than my Sprite (that was an absolute must for me), though the pic in my previous post with the two of them together is not an entirely accurate depiction of the height difference (he's wearing chunky boots and she's wearing flats in that pic). He is taller by a good few centimeters, though. I would have been happier with the body if it was a bit broader in the shoulders and chest, but I guess there's not a lot of demand for broad-chested mini boys out there.:roll: I guess I just have very specific tastes.;)

    17. Mini sized dolls tend to be fairly immature looking, around the age of 13 or so. I am looking for more mature, adult looking Mini sized doll. I've found my Bobobie Lan is 40cm and she's very mature looking; depending on his clothing and hair, Dollzone Megi is fairly mature. Some Minifees like Seorin are more mature looking. What are some other brands and sculpts of Mini sized dolls that are more adult looking?

    18. When my dollzone Shoyo is dressed in certain things (most of what I have) she looks about 16-19 (and her character is 20). She was a Shoyo Cat Girl though..so you might have a hard time looking for her..
      Angel Region has a few mature-ish looking ones though..maybe a couple Soom too.

    20. Unoa, Latidoll Blue, Minifee, and Narae all look much more mature than the usual MSDs in terms of their body proportions. You should take a look at all of them and go from there n_n
