Your best bet seems Rosette. I have yet to encounter a doll in person that's slimmer than the Resinsoul girls. Minifee are much thicker, and most clothes made for Unoa don't fit on Resinsoul girls.
Planet doll and Garden of doll Nabyia (Did I spell that right) are about the same size tho I believe.

 

Not sure if this will work for you, but have you looked at Islanddoll? When I was looking at measurements, their MSD Amy seemed to have a really slim body.

The only problem with Rosettes is that their legs are so thin and long that you might have trouble with posing, if that is important, and since they are ~50cm, your outfits might not fit in the length.

Also, Fairyland Chiclines haven't been mentioned yet. Then again, they have much more mature curves than Resinsoul girls and similar.

 

I agree with Ladybug, MademoiselleLotus, have you looked at Fairyland's Chic-line dolls yet? They have almost the same measurements as 16" fashion dolls, as does RS's. They do have small heads, and look more like a Fashion doll, but I just loved that. But if you don't, they're made so you can put different types of heads on them. You can put an L-line head or even a Minifee head on them. Though the MNF heads were not attached with an official neck attachment, Fairyland says they are working on one for the doll.

 

I can vouch for this. I had an Island Doll Amy pass through here and she was SUPER slim. Much slimmer than my DOC, and - even though I didn't have her at the time to compare visually - I know she was smaller than my MNF girl.

 

I'm going to say Narae, as aren't they ratherly slim?

I completely agree! I've fallen in love with the MNF bodies, & many of the female MNF face sculpts look mature enough for me. But the boy face sculpts are too young/feminine for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I do love me some girly-boys. But I also appreciate manly-men, & I was disappointed to find not a single truly mature MSD male. (Sorry, I'm not really into Fairyland's C-line)

All the mature male sculpts I like are SD sized, & at this point in time the size, weight, & cost of large BJD's aren't practical for me. Souldoll's Lester (Vito line) looks the most promising right now, though still bigger than MSD size. I wonder if they will expand the line with both male & female dolls?

The company that someday caters to this "mature MSD" niche will make LOTS of money, that's for sure

 

My RS Rong has a very mature double-jointed body. I love the body and it has such great detail!
You can get any BBB or RS MSD head on that body too.

 

After looking around for a mature MSD I went for the C-line from Fairyland. The default heads are a bit small (think superhero/fashion proportions) but they also sell adapters for M and L-line heads. I'm hoping they will release some more mature looking L-line heads in the future because I prefer that proportion myself.

Other mature MSD options are the shinydoll 'fragille' and limhwa 'to you' series. Both are well sculpted and have great posability.

 

I also would love a mature msd male that isn't a fashion doll. I was really hoping that Soom would do one but their msd line are young.

 

I'm with all of you on this. I think SD size dolls are just a bit much for me, so I would like to stick with MSD but would love a more mature looking sculpt, especially for the boys. OolaLark is right about Souldoll Lester, he is still a manageble size but has a really nice, chisled face...I am definitely saving for him!

 

A new mature MSD girl was just announced - 43cm Limhwa 'Leda'. Also has high-heeled feet, but not as fashion doll-ish as the Chicline.

 

Well, here are my two cents. I always wanted mature looking boys who looked like they could be in their late teens or in early twenties. Because I could never find a doll that had both a mature body (like Minifees or AoDs) and a more mature face, I ended up modding an Unoa B-el. The original mold can be pretty mature looking with the right face-up but I got a sleeping face-plate and did an eye opening. I made the eyes a size smaller than they normally are. He can now wear 10mm eyes. Because I didn't think that the Unoa body was mature enough I got him an AoD body. This is how he looks now.

For my other boy I'm waiting for Dollfair to open up ordering again. He's going to get a Narin heartbreak head, because I just wasn't too happy with the MNF Karsh head whose eyes were a bit too big for my liking. With a more realistic face-up (I don't care to much for the factory one) the Narin heartbreak will look like a grumpy boy in his late teens.

Both heads are slightly smaller than normal MSD ones which make them a bit more mature looking in my opinion. They both wear 6-7 wigs. The Limho Mono also is in that range I believe.

 

Pretty surprised that Latiblue boys havent been mentioned.
They are about 46-47-ish cm high and have an option of Muscular or stylish body.
Gabriel, my Latiblue Rucas is the most mature one outta my whole lot ;3

 

What about the Vito line from Souldoll? They are a little taller than standard MSD but very mature. Right now there's only two, Lester and the limited Rouse, but they said they were planning on making a female for that line soon.

 

My Latiblue is the most mature MSD male I've found - super body and great hands! He's still on the young side, but by far the best I've seen. I just wish someone would listen and create a few more grown up guys. The girls are available, and with the right face up can easily be in their twenties, but they look like cradle robbers with the men!

 

I recently acquired an older Serendipity Sharmin and her body is very delicate and slim. DollnDoll now has a basic Sharmin, but the body is different, I think, and I am not sure if it has similar measurements. I originally just purchased Serendipity Sharmin for the body, but I actually ended up liking the face too.
