Right?? I'm also curious to see if there have been changes to the sculpt (neck opening/head back) between the two versions. I have a really early edition from when Migidoll was still starting.

 

So what eye size fits Yujin best? I feel like 14mm is too big...

 

14mm small iris eyes are best, 12mm if you don't mind the gap. I still need to get some for my boys.

 

So, like 14mm eyeco would work well? my yujin has way too big eyes and they're 14 but i guess they have big irises.

 

@Nebula Yah that's the problem with more realistic doll faces they need more realistic eyes. Lots of people go with the smaller size and put up with the gaps but eyeco, beetle and a few others make small iris low dome eyes that are realistic in size.

 

So, in your opinion, what is the perfect Migi boy hybrid? I love the aesthetics of the POPOdoll 68cm body, but it's too tall.

 

Well, my Migi is on a Beyours 65 body because the lack of abs, lankier build, and more androgynous shape suited the character better. And the match isn't bad, just a touch darker.

 

I have one on any April Story 70cm and another on a Mirodoll 66cm, they are both wonderful for their character, lanky vampires.

 

Honestly I love my Miho on his Luts SDF body.

 

My Migidoll boys are all in 68cm-73cm bodies.

 

My Cho is also on a mirodoll 66cm body, but I think his neck is a bit long, don't you have that problem too??

 

I don't. I guess I am used to the long neck of the Dollshe pure bodies so it doesn't bother me.

I still think mine has a longer neck but I can be wrong

 

One thing to note is that even though Yujin and Cho are the same 1/3 scale, it doesn't mean that they're the same size. Cho's head is slightly more narrow and small, while Yujin has a wider jaw which helps in covering more of the top and sides of the neck. How deep the neck hole is sculpted also factors in in how it fits on the neck.

 

my Migidoll Ell just got his body - the new luts S65 delf type 2. I think it's a great fit and I like the body a lot. The resin match is off because my Ell is a bit older and his resin is a bit more yellow, but I should be able to correct with blush without too much work.

Anyway, I'm just happy to have him complete. I think he looks great.

My Ell is on the Doll Leaves 70cm body (which is actually 67cm). It's a good fit for him and the resin match wasn't too bad, although his head has a more yellow tone than the body, it's only noticeable in low light. Both head and body are a few years old now, so I imagine the resin is different now.

 

I'm blushing the Migidoll NS hands, I need to seal and gloss the nails but it turned out well.
